The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and the service is great. The waitress was extremely nice and took the time to translate the menu and to even propose different wine that we could taste (before ordering). We got our food pretty quickly but were very disappointed with the tuna steak with pistachio ("filleto di tonno in crosta di pistachi... More

We went to this lovely restaurant on our last night! We had the sword fish roll for starters and loved it. This was then followed by a huge steak that was lovely. I asked for rare and it truly did turn up rare, but beautifully cooked for me. This was washed down with a nice bottle of Prosecco. I do... More

Perfecto wine, and pasta. Cozy interior and friendly staff :) but Italian meat are not the same like New Zealand or Australian - not so soft and not so meaty :) eat pasta in Italian ;)

Went to the restaurant on the recommendation of one of the locals. I sat down on a seat adjacent to my partner and was asked to move to a seat opposite her, I couldn''t see the reason for this, and I didn't feel comfortable sat at the foot of the stairs with my back to them. Anyway, the waitress apologised... More

The food is really good, excellent taste, abundant portions and well presented plates. But after walking around and getting out of restaurants because they treat you really bad, we found this charming place where the personal was truly friendly. Sonia was super helpful, she even gave us some recommendations for places to go. The place is like eating at nonna's... More

Hungry after a day of sightseeing, we chose Trattoria Aldente based on a recommendation by our bed and breakfast host. The location is very nice and the specials on the chalk board based on fresh 'funghi porcini' sounded appetising, so be bolted in! First off the ambience is nice warm and welcoming, prices very reasonable and the service remained very... More

The restaurant is in a pedestrian zone. It has a really small terrace, but even in hot weather, the back room - a former cellar - is the better choice. It's cool and more spacious. It is also lined with interesting bottles. Owner and staff are welcoming, accessible and friendly, creating a family restaurant atmosphere. The menu is concentrated on... More

Lovely food and a really charming interior. Portions not quite enough for my husband. The waiter speaks perfect english but is a bit over the top.

Despite the fact that we arrived very late in the evening the service was very accomodating. The food was very good and the ambiance very cosy. BRAVO ! Do not hesitate !

On an impulse my wife and I decided to try this restaurant, what a find. We were shown to the rear cellar which had a lovely atmosphere. I have never seen so many bottles of wine on display. I started with Asparagus followed by Gnocchi with clams, delicious. My wife has veal with an Artichoke sauce, wonderful. Thoroughly recommended
