Nice food, ask to sit in the cellar

Good food, wine was heavily corked although waitress tasted it before! No problem was made to open another bottle. Kids could eat a menu for 2. Relativly warm inside.

We were getting hot and hungry after walking all over Old Town Aosta having left Chamonix early in the morning. After passing many places, we like the look and menu at Aldente. We were very pleased with the quality of the food and service. The hosts were very pleasant and friendly to our English only. We had wonderful homemade gnocchi... More

We booked a table for 6 for dinner and were shown into a lovely vaulted part of the restaurant. The restaurant was fully booked, they even make two services in the evening. We had absolutely great food, mostly regional specialities. The quality/price ratio was excellent. We ate well, had great wine and grappa also. The wine was so good that... More

We stopped here for lunch and had a delicious meal full of italian classics. The restaurant looks small from the outside but there are numerous rooms and a cellar/dining room for big groups. The waiter translated everything and was very helpful. As a result we had a variety of local specialities and each was very tasty and portions were copious.... More

We've been advised by local to eat there as a good (not excellent) but good and fare. I would probably think so, if not one thing. Place looks cosy and traditional, stuff also quite polite. But when i went to wash my hands to toilet with my daughter, we met BIG COCKROACH! omg. really big. I know probably in a... More

To be sure we reserved despite it being a Monday night. Good job we did as only a few seats not taken when we arrived at 8pm. We were shown onto the back which is a stone vaulted cellar originally but beautifully decorated and overflowing with wine bottles. Service was swift and friendly. My Tuscan bean and vegetable soup was... More

What a lovely and charming place with great service and food. Loved the fresh burrata, it was soft & delicious. The baked vegetables were nice and cheesy and the ricotta ravioli was absolutely scrumptious. Very light and packed with good flavors. I did not enjoy my chicken dish. The chicken was tough and chewy. Def. won't recommend it. The service... More

We went to this restaurant for dinner. There were 13 of us and they managed our large group. The restaurant was busy but service was good. We had some lovely pasta dishes and local delicacies to start.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and the service is great. The waitress was extremely nice and took the time to translate the menu and to even propose different wine that we could taste (before ordering). We got our food pretty quickly but were very disappointed with the tuna steak with pistachio ("filleto di tonno in crosta di pistachi... More

We went to this lovely restaurant on our last night! We had the sword fish roll for starters and loved it. This was then followed by a huge steak that was lovely. I asked for rare and it truly did turn up rare, but beautifully cooked for me. This was washed down with a nice bottle of Prosecco. I do... More
