nice restaurant, romantic atmosphere, very good food. keep room for a glass of grappa at the end of your meal. and trust the suggestions of the funny and super welcoming host and owner.

7 of us including 1 child ate ai Tre Garofani and we were all very impressed by the attentive service, delicious food, great local wine and warm atmosphere. Whilst not expensive by Italian standards, it is not as inexpensive as a pizzeria but worth every euro. Would definitely go back and recommend it to others. Book as they seem to... More

Lovely food - I have the pasta and my boyfriend had the steak - both beautifully cooked. My only slight critisism would be that they did not ask how he liked the steak cooked. The location was lovely and service was also very good...we were pleased to stumble accross this place!

This is the best place I have ever visited in Italy in terms of food. Service might be better but food is simply amazing. They continuously change their menu as I understood, because the second time I went there offerings were already different. That may be a drawback. In general, I highly recommend this place to spend a special night... More

If you're looking for a lovely evening out with that special someone - this is definitely the place. My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant last year for our anniversary and it still remains the best place we've chosen of all our dining out experiences. Not so much for the quality of the food - because truth be told,... More

I have eaten here a few times and have always been very suprised at how good it is. This is not your normal pasta dishes but local food of the area, well prepared and very tasty. The cook likes to try different things and I remember a very pleasant wasabi sorbet served with the meat course. Very enjoyable and they... More

We went here after not getting any service at another restaurant and it was a great simple menu, reasonable prices and excellent service. The waiter spoke simple English, and we received free prosecco, soup, and some fresh bread to start our meal. The menu was a condensed version of their full menu because of the busy Christmas market time. The... More

Excellent restaurant in the center of Trento. The menu is a nice fusion between traditional local recipes and classical dishes. We had mixed both (canederli for first course and foie gras as second, for example), and everything was excellent. The same applies to wines, for example with desserts they brought us a local "port-like" and a wonderful sherry. On top... More

We wound up at this restaurant by chance, and it was one of the best meals we've ever eaten. Great variety of local dishes and wines, and very kind and attentive staff. Try the Teroldego!

After deliberating between several similiarly priced restaurants, we dined at Ai Tre Garofani admirably because it was open (we were there on Good Friday). We were happy with the food and the wait staff was very helpful and suggested several good wines from the area. If you go, save room for dessert. We would go again if in the area.
