Very nice and cheap food!

Had a bruschetta al tonno and carpaccio to start with, price was low so therefore I ordered two starters, bur it turned out to be a nice tasty portion! Had pork fillet mustard wit roasted potatoes as main, a still water and local red wine 50 cl, ending with dessert and had to pay € 36... read more

I had lunch here during Christmas market season. On the edge of the old city, but not hard to find. Clientele seemed to be 50-50 local and non-local. Everything on the menu was good value, not tourist city prices at all. The house wines all cost EUR 5.00 for a 50cl carafe. I selected the sparkling which turned out to... More

Can't believe the value and the ambience. 4 of us had different meals and all enjoyed the meals. Try the local wine - Teroldego. Great value. Ahh TripAdvisor - you've done it again! (apologies to McGoo)

We happened upon Patelli 20 years ago when we first visited Italy on our honeymoon and had always wanted to return. We were delighted to still find it recently and the meal we had was utterly delicious . There was something very comforting about finding the restaurant as we remembered it, with the same kind of décor and fresh, high... More

As we were trying to have dinner in Trento one Saturday night around ten, apparently a bit late for the habits of this town, Patelli was the only restaurant that accommodated us without batting an eye, while all the others before had turned us down claiming that the kitchen was already closed. The atmosphere is very quiet, sober and refined,... More

Nothing was positively bad, but detecting flavours required a monumental effort. Supposedly home made tortelloni looked anything but and were very thick. A pepper sauce was bland as was the filling of 'spressa' (a local cheese). A fillet of colt was tender and succulent, the best thing of the meal. However, every main is supposed, according to the menu, to... More

Stunning carpacio. Everything else lovely. Nice room, very charming, excellent, good value food. Tiniest cavil - basket of bread a bit dry (why do some Italian restaus do this?) But that's a micro-complaint.

We had dinner two nights in a row in this restaurant - it is that good. The food is amazing, both the starters and pasta dishes, the staff are very nice, and the house wine is very good. The price is more than reasonable. Definitely try this restaurant.

I am truly surprised at some of the reviews of this outstanding restaurant. A couple of friends and I had a truly outstanding meal here. I had a sirloin steak in a sirloin sauce savory cabbage which was out of this world and a primi plate of perfectly cooked spaghetti with a thyme and wild mushrooms that just perfect. A... More
