Good trattoria

Good and interesting seasonal dishes at this trattoria on the 'other' side of the river Adige. A 'bi-colour' veloute' of chestnuts and pumpkin was well conceived and nice looking, though a little too thick and gluey (due to the potatoes). Assunta and Luca have the perfect combination of delicious and varied freshly cooked local dishes, with an exceptional wine knowledge and cellar. Not only this, but the atmosphere is relaxing and friendly, encouraging a person to stay longer and enjoy the overall experience. There is even a menu in English providing a little more detail for that difficult choice! The restaurant also... More

Gentle and kind owner , excellent and creative cooking , interesting and complete wine list. This is what you can find at Il Libertino. I was there for a lunch whit my wife and we still remember the pleasure. The only one forgotten thing is the bill ( not cheap but not expensive ) .

Really enjoyed a fine meal here and the service was friendly and attentive. It is not cheap but if you are looking for more than the usual, it is worth it.
