Went inside, said hello to a young waiter who said bongiorno back and walked on. Stood for 10!!!minutes at the bar trying to get contact and ask for available table, but no one even looked up or paid attention!! Restaurant was crowded so I guess the arrogance has taken over.... Go to Patelli!

My most recent lunch at the wine bar was very impressive, original dishes well executed. A salad of salt cod, goat cheese, beetroot pure' and coffee was particularly striking and refined. Stuffed artichokes 'Roman style' with Puzzone di Moena and spinach was at the same time one for the glutton and one for the vegetable lover. Veal meatballs were soft... More

Really outstanding restaurant on the main square! Modern design in historical building (Palazzo), good service, original taste. Wide list of local wines by glasses. I like it's open kitchen and choise of cheeses!

Traditional dishes are interpreted with a modern touch but without any exaggeration. For instance, lentil soup was appropriately accompanied by chestnut, and salt code gave it additional flavor; pumpkin ravioli with goat cheese challenged conventions as coffee beans and capers came with them, but the result was very good; grilled cuttlefish (right softness) was accompanied by pomegranate, orange and refreshing... Different kind of menus to choose from tasting local cheeses and sausages and drinking wine to full set menu or a la carte choices. Ideal location and atmosphere. I had a delicious soup with lentils, chestnuts and cod and as a dessert a chestnut mousse with lotus, absolutely amazing! The Pino Nero red wine perfect as well! A highly recommended... More

This is by far our favorite restaurant in Trento. A beautiful building ("recently" remodeled in 1850) The food is regional, simple, yet wonderfully prepared. The service is also impeccable (rare in Europe) with a very knowledgeable staff. Stay local, including the wines and you cannot go wrong. Oh, and surprisingly affordable. We each had three courses accompanied by 3 glasses... More

Although the menu is limited, the dishes are excellent, refined and non-standard. Dishes with rabbit, duck, etc., probably regional specialties. Not good for dining with young children because they have no standard pasta's. The wine is also great, many options by the glass but the prices are too high (for the wine). Choose a table outside on the square and... More

Ideally located in the stunning Piazza del Duomo (outdoor seating available), the Scrigno del Duomo Wine Bar offers a good selection of wines (both local and from other parts of Italy and beyond) and delicious, carefully prepared food. Drinks are usually accompanied by good quality nibbles (pan brioche, capers, sundried tomatoes, olives, liver paté). There's a wide choice of dishes... More

I'm always worried that it cannot last, but in the meanwhile I've had another series of wonderful meals both upstairs in the wine bar and downstairs in the restaurant proper. Upstairs, the winning aspect is the value for money, both for drinks and for food, which is excellent and makes one forgive the occasional small mistakes in execution. Downstairs, the... More
