A quiet refuge off the beaten ski slopes

At the top of the Puflatsch (Bullaccia) ski run is this small restaurant/hut, offering a wide choice of local fare. Ski down from the top of the "Kleine Hexe" tow lift. Great to drop in for lunch or a drink. Friendly service. The ski-doo will take you back to the top of the hill (for 2 Euro... read more

Have visited in summer and in winter.Easily accessible via hiking trails (summer & winter) and ski runs. Good, comfort food, beer & wine. Some indoor seatings but lots of outdoor picnic benches. International Clientel. Very busy both times of year. Great local, traditional atmosphere.

Our walking tour group stopped twice here in one day. The first stop was to fortify ourselves with well-made cappuccino and fabulous house-made apple strudel. After our strenuous hike, we returned for a late lunch. I had a lovely light omelet. Others had lasagna or sausage. The house white wine was cold and crisp. Service was friendly. Definitely worth a... More

We stopped here during a day visit to hike the area from the tram to Arnika following the loop trail. Our guide stopped here and we could not have been more satisfied with our lunch. Orzo (barley soup), cheese plate with bread, apple strudel were a great fill-me-up for the remainder of the hike. The owner was completely friendly and... More

After a long and beautiful hike with my Aunt and Mum we went to the Hütte for a drink and a snack. Typical Südtiroler Gastfreundschaft and lovely food. The waiter even said a few words in Dutch to my Aunt, which made her day.

This was a great stop to rest during our hike in the summer snow. We had good hot chocolate and the Goulash soup hit the spot. The place was filled with hikers. We were the only English speaking ones there. The food was OK, the view spectacular. This was a good place in a great location.

beautiful hot chocolate at a fair price, friendly service, and it hit the spot after a trudge in the snow. Just what I needed at the time!

Let's face it, one dines at Arnika Hutte for the view (which is spectacular) not the food. They offer a sunny balcony with picnic tables where hikers can drink a beer and have a bite to eat. The limited menu is mostly German food, but there is at least one spaghetti dish on the menu. They also serve coffee and... More
