very good food

the most friendly-to-Americans place we found in town. The filet mignons (we got both types they offered) were both fantastic, especially the one with the peppercorn sauce. We would definitely return here.

Decent diner and breakfast as we stayed one night in May. But there weren't many other english speaking visitors other than one couple we met from California who we ended up chatting with across the heads of everybody else. Yes, it was probably rude, but we did try to include others who stared blankly at us. Servers were decent but... More

Enjoyed a fine meal at the hotel restaurant. Well prepared but it was not typical cuisine of the area.

We were treated like special guests and the food was quite good. The table settings were elegant, the furnishings perfect, and servers very attentive.

The breakfast and dinner was included as 1/2 board with our hotel room. Food was delicious:-) Dinner was a 5 course relaxing meal with wonderful choices.

Excellent restaurant! Five course dinners, traditional southern Tyrolean. We enjoyed three nights and three dinners at this hotel and restaurant and would do the same thing again. Thank you!

This restaurant was in our hotel (a lovely old place in the centre of town), whose standard led us to expect the same of the restaurant. Sadly mistaken : 1) Despite taking a dinner reservation at 8:30pm (a civilised time for dinner) the serving staff made it patently clear that our presence there was an imposition upon more engaging demands... The shrimp scampi (basically several large and mid-size prawns) were exquisite. The pasta and steak was very good. Service was brusque, and quite fast - the staff did not want us to take even a minute to order dessert, as we had a reservation at 8 pm and finished around 915 - they were obviously ready to go.

Absolutely first rate service. The set meals in the restaurant were all excellent and were great value for money
