I was there with a friend the 30th of april 2014. We had goulash soup, onion soup and one mix with various kinds of meat + 2 desserts (Klaus's apfel strudel ;-)). We spent 46 euro with 2 half a liter wine. White wine is exellent, red is so and so. I was very satisfied with my goulash and my... More

This is a place to go and eat traditional food from Alto Adige. Quality is good and the place is casual and relaxed. Prices are just good and value for money very good. Is located in the center of Bolzano and surely worths a visit.

The meal started out with a rather long (even for Italy) wait while they found the one hostess that could speak English, but that wasn't their fault. They seemed quite busy that evening, so I can't blame them for the wait. They also did seem to quarantine the Americans in the far corner of the restaurant, rather than where most... More

This is a very old stube in the centre of the old town. The food is not expensive and good. The menu has traditional food from South Tyrol and a variety of other Italian meals. It is well worth the visit.

Do not expect any high-class menu. In this restaurant you get local, authentic food, and the restaurant is visited by many locals!

I ate here two nights in a row with a wide variety of friends. On both evenings everyone was pleased with what they ordered, whether it was an Italian or a Tyrolean dish. The service is very good, the portions are large, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

Also known by it's German name: Weisses Rossle (White Pony in English). I lead group hiking tours, and I always start with dinner here. This is authentic Tyrolean food, very well prepared, with excellent service and atmosphere. Prices are in line with the quality.

This place is packed by the way. The prices are amazing for Bolzano. 1/2 liter of house wine was only 4,40 euro, and meals were only 10-15 euro. Had the goulash and polenta, wife was happy with her spaghetti carbanara. Advertised homemade tiramisu which was less than 4 euro and tasted great. Waitress spoke German, English, and Italian fluently and... More
