OK, the food was good. The beer was good. The service was good. It was right around the corner from our hotel, so that was good as well.

Very good German style beers. Food was average and portions were shockingly small by Italian standards. I actually left here hungry. Nice patio.

We lunched at Hopfen on two occasions, in order to sample their delicious home brewed beer. This a bustling place, and it is charming to sit outside and watch the world go by whilst drinking great beer and enjoying their home cooked food. We had salads and also local specialities, all of which were lovely. Not the cheapest place in... More

Most of reviews I read on TA are spot on. Well not this one. We were looking for a simple place to eat other then the usual places I go to when in town. Beer was fantastic and that was about all. Food was average at best. My wife's dish was out within 5 min and it tasted like it.... More

Nice place, comfortable and easy going. You feel familiar from the beginning. Very good service, very good typical food from south tyrol. homemade beer , excellent, one liter will not be enough, so order more! We had risotto with mushrooms and knodell with dark beer. Must try the "birramisù", which is a tiramisù with beer!

We enjoyed Sunday lunch on the busy street, just enjoying life among each other and around us. The food and service brought us much pleasure. We will gladly return.

Three people, thirsty, bit hungry, looking for something special in the centre of Bolzano. Something typical for Südtirol. We found Hopfen & Co. Great athmosphere. Great beer. Great food. People from the area told us we chose the 100% correct location. So get there, you will love it.

Located in an old typical building it's developed on three floors and it serves traditional food from Alto Adige with a modern twist. Beer is just fantastic. Service is good.

Nice beer made at the premises and good "Tytoler tapas". Cheese, ham, bread, sausages etc. Nice atmosphare and reasonable prices.

Ordered the schweinshaxe and 4 nurnburgers. The pork knuckle was inedibile, I could barely cut through it, even then it tasted like it had gone way by past its use by date. The nurnburgers weren't even nurnburgers, and tasted more like frankfurters. Something has definitely gone awry in that kitchen. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
