open on sunday!

the most part of famous restaurants in Bozen are closed on Sunday evening so I came here by chance and I got a good surprise: they offer mostly local dishes from South Tirol, good quality at reasonable price! I recommend the soup with fresh ginger (6 Euros). Good selection of beers.

I have read great review, but will have to write this one because it seems either they can't handle it when we are 30 or they do not care. We came as a big group, had prior reserved and a menu was arranged. We came two days in a row as it was already reserved. The food was awful, service... More

We enjoyed our meal here. It was recommended as typical food from the region. They brew their own beer and we enjoyed the dark beer. We got there about 7 pm and by 7.30 they were queuing up to get a table

Not surprising to find excellent German food in this part of northern Italy but this little brewery restaurant took it one step further. From goulash to sandwiches to a cold meat platter (and on site brewed beer) this was Bavaria in Italy. I am not sure we will be back Bozen/Bolzano but if we are we know where we are... More

This restaurant is a GEM. We ate here on 3 different occasions during the 10-days in Bolzano. We had the services of a waiter named Navid on 2 of those occasions. Although his demeanor was professional, his contact skills with patrons left me feeling as a source of his tip and nothing more. HOWEVER, do not let this comment deter... More

We stopped in here for lunch on a Saturday and the entire restaurant was packed. We managed to grab a table in a niche on the top floor that overlooked the Piazza del' Erbe. We tucked the kids in against the wall and our waiter, Markus, was quick to help us feel at home. We ordered the Hefeweissen (ok, rather... More

Good place to visit if you are looking for pub food in an atmospheric place. Bread, pasta and dessert are up to expectation. Spare ribs not as good as it should be. Must orde the beer, apart from appreciating on the brewery container and bottle!

Another good brau house, the seasonal beers are really good ,very Austrian and they do tend to be very strong in a good way.

Based on our 2 visits, once to the bar, then subsequently upstairs to the restaurant, we were very disappointed. The food is passable, not everything on the menu was available (on a moderately busy Tuesday night) and the staff are fairly disinterested. And it isn't particularly cheap. Very surprised by the other enthusiastic reviews, as there are many better options... More

A quaint little local restaurant that brews it's great beer on the bottom floor bar & has a beer related menu (beer goulash, beer-a-misu, Weiss sorbet, etc!). On the top floor service was a little slower, but made up for with great atmosphere.
