Probably the best restaurant in Bolzano. Modern, spacious restaurant. I recommend to seat inside, it will be less crowded and there will be no second smoke. Very attentive and knowledgeable staff who speak Italian, German and English. Great selection of wines. I had a soup as a starter and spaghetti with chanterelle mushrooms which was delicious although I thought it... More

We started with Open Ravioli with shrimps in a lobstersauce which we both did like. I had Risotto w porcini mushrooms and that I have to say was rather tasteless. Main course was Homemade spagetthi with Chantarelle mushrooms and tasted fine. I did choose the Tagliata Beef made from the roastbeef and was surprisingly tender and cooked perfect, well done... The location is in the old part of the city, not far from Walther Square. As soon as we sat down, they served us an assortment of bread and rolls. It was so good, that they even refilled without our asking for it. My vegetarian brother had a Green Salad with cheese and Spinach and Cheese Ravioli, which was very... More

This restaurant was a recommendation of hotel staff in another city. It was right down the street from Hotel Greif where we were staying. We had a delicious and filling meal. We shared one appetizer, had a pasta course each, and shared one "second plate" and had plenty of food between us. We also enjoyed a recommended local wine, which... More

Service was excellent and the food modern and creative. Well sized portions and delectable. The wine list is extensive but not ver expensive. A sommelier there to help match wines. I will now always go to dinner there.

I have visited Bozen many times over the years, and it is difficult to find good food. In comparison to the rest of Italy and the surrounding South Tyrol the quality is poor and often overpriced. I was therefore very pleasantly surprised by the Kaiserkron. Excellent food, creatively prepared and perfect service. In fact one of the best meals I... More

We stopped in Bolzano to stretch our legs in the middle of a long road trip. The food at Zur Kaiserkron was very good. Everything we had was in season and delicious. The potato / leek soup was soul satisfying. My husband had a fresh salad to start with pumpkin in it, that was good, but in our opinion, not... More

We just came back from one of the best meals we have had on our tour of Italy. I had checked TA to find a special place to eat on our last night in Bolzano and many travelers had recommended Kur Kaiserkron. I had made reservations while we were still home and I am glad I did because the place... More
