Food was delicious and the staff were wonderful and friendly. Tucked away but so worth seeking out. Great wines available.

This restaurant was a little difficult to find and we did not know we were at a restaurant until a waiter opened the door. The food was exceptional and the cozy atmosphere made it a spectacular evening. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It is hard to remember all of the food, but the traditional Italian dishes... More

We saw Il Tinello on our way back from the Renner/R gondola after a day walking on the trails above the town. After checking tripadvisor reviews we decided to go back and give it a try. We were glad we did. The restaurant was very quiet and we were the only customers inside when we sat down (outside had a... More

Helpful service with some great recommendations, fine Italian staples (we both had pasta) and not overly expensive either

We ate in the small outside patio, which was very nice. The food was not South Tyrolian but Southern Italian and it was very nice. They seem to use ingredients that are in season, which I love. I had pasta with artichokes after a lovely starter of octopus salad. Perhaps they could have added more spices, but it was all... More

NIce reastaurant, good and relaxed service, friendly and kind people. I had very good plates of fish and pasta.Atmosphere is nice and relaxing (especially outside in the terrace in a lovely summer night) bcause a bit outside from the road of Bolzano centre but still in a very central place. The price is very reasonable for such good meal.

This place had a great vibe, really nice staff, and good fresh, tasty food.Situated just off the main square, near the Laurin...so pop in to Fischbanke for a Venetziana as an aperitif. Can highly recommend!

Great service, great food. Made us feel like guests in their house. They even provided a complimentary limoncelli drink at the end of our meal. My wife got the lasagna bolognese and a semi-freddo mint chocolate ice cream, while I had the homemade tagliatell with (red) pesto pistachio sauce and coffee/chocolate sorbet. Highly recommended.

My wife and I spent three nights in Bolzano in June 2012. We came across Il Tinello by accident on our second night and almost didn't go in because it seemed closed but were glad we did. the food and service were very good, the interior decor was nice and the prices were reasonable. We returned the next night for... More
