Soak up the italian atmosphere

We popped in here to see what the masses of people entering and exiting were all about. Inside was absolutely packed with what seemed to be the local italian community. A great atmosphere to be a part of! Pick out your bruchetta type nibbles first (1 euro each) and then pay at the counter. We spoke... read more

This little tavern has limited seating so make sure to get there early. You have a choice of three types of pasta (presented buffet-style and wamred up in the micro-wave) and lots of different antipasti, all to a very good price. If you're passing by and don't want to eat just a sandwich I recommend this place.

This osteria is an amazing spot very well located with crazy and very funny owners who make this place different to anyone other in Bolzano. Here the atmosphere is superb, everybody having fun and sharing laughs while eating and drinking. From Mondays to Fridays you can eat delicious homemade food at lunchtime. Their different types of bruschetta are yummy. We... More

First, I will start off by saying that please pay attention to the opening and closing times of this eatery…I have posted a picture for reference! Its not like a café where its opened all day. This restaurant is perfectly located on a charming back street of Bozen/Bolzano central to the city. Your eyes are immediately drawn to the many... More

Fantastic food to an incredible price. You sit in a crowded cosy atmosphere. People come and go all the time. Really a different place, worth a visit.

This isn't a fancy restaurant with sit-down service. It's self-service. The place is small and you are expected to share tables or stand outside at the counter along the wall of the osteria. The place is quirky and frequented by many locals. You can either eat cicchettis (slices of baguette bread with various toppings) or go for a warm meal.... More

In the evening, which is when everyone goes there, the place buzzes. It's the place for a drink and an aperitif snack - although larger plates are available. Order your drink, and then help yourself to the small bread-based snacks from the trays. There might be speck (the local cured ham), or cooked ham, or cured salmon. There's an honour... More
