Excellent dinner, a little expensive, but worth the price. All nicely cooked recipes. Fresh fish. Interesting large sets of small appetizers. Some of the pasta are excellent. Huge mix of fried "paranza" fish.

Attentive service, staff are passionate about the food they serve which is great. A bit expensive, but worth it as a treat! It is worth booking in advance as they are often full, even mid week

In the wonderfully appropriate Via Matteo Pescatore, this is an unusual thing in Turin - a specialist fish restaurant. Located near the Piazza Vittoria Veneto, it looks like a hole in the wall but is surprisingly large inside. It was pretty empty when we arrived at 8pm but by 8.45 it was completely packed, with a mixture of locals and... More

This is a restaurant that is really not geared for tourists, so be warned: there is no sign on the street, the menus are in Italian, though they will translate for you (the poster who complained that Americans got menus with no prices missed the point- somebody had done a translation for them; normally the written menu is only in... It's a nice fish restaurant with very particular interior design. Before I went I read comments on the internet and discovered that they suck for starters. They have only one starter plate that everyone says is not good, did not try personally. I ate a pasta and a main course. Everyone had one pasta in the begining and they were... More

Yes, doubtful as I was, when my business partners told me about a "fish" dinner in Turin.., I was really pleased to find a nice, informal, warm restaurant. The service was easygoing but accurate, and the girls serving us very knowledgeable. The appetisers were tasty and well prepared, he Cappellini with muscles and sea urchin, delicious The tuna steak juicy... More

Went there with some colleagues, and they mentioned it's one of the better (if not best) fish restaurants in Torino. Just 100 meters away from the grand Piazza Vittorio Veneto, where you can park in the underground parking garage. The restaurant is not big, so fortunately we had made reservations. The menu is in Italian only, but the staff could... More

Actually if you loo for a save place in Turin and you like fish, you can not do anything wrong by going to Mare Nostrum. It is suited for a romantic evening (if your partner eats fish) or a business dinner. The place is easy to find, near the town center. The cuisine is essentially around fish, cooked with finesse... I was there some month ago and it was a great experience. We ate a lot of fantastic starters: I can suggest to try all of them both hot and cold. Then I ate a very fantastic fried fish: it was good and even if fried it was very light! The dessert was a fantastic experience egg flip! All the... More

A local business colleague of mine invited me to dinner at this seafood restaurant this week and what an excellent choice! Perfectly executed simple fish dishes in an ancient Torino atmosphere. The service was super friendly and the wait staff was happy to walk me through the menu in English, (No English menu to me is always a great sign... More
