Best sushi in town

Wasabi is one of the two best sushi restaurants in Torino and certainly the only authentic japanese one. Not cheap, true, but this is what you pay for good sushi.

The food is great, don't get me wrong. The atmosphere is very characteristic and what I assume must be a realistic representation of Japanese culture BUT it is definitely overpriced. Nothing to say about the quality of the food or the service but I think it's definitely too pricy and you can get stuff just as good for much lower... More

We had a group 5 people and had a great time with amazing sushi and reasonable prices and great service. Place is very intimate and grate place to take a date. We had sushi sampler and had a great experience.

I'm new in Japanese food. Wasabi was my fourth Japanese restaurant so I’m not an expert. For now I only look for Japanese stuff, when planning :-). Wasabi made a great impression on me. Everything about the place is so peaceful and kind, from entering the restaurant on. The stuff and the cook are Japanese and they have a nice... More

Location is pretty nice, with typical Japanese furniture and atmosphere and staff (pure Japanese) are warmly kind and try to make all the guests at their ease. Food is good (I'm pretty demanding about sushi and all the Japanese food in general) and I can confirm that food experience is above the average even though nothing too much special to... More

I completely agree with Caipirina, Wasabi is one of the eldest and authentic sushi restaurats in Turin ... the only imperfection is the price. No doubt, the setting is the most scenic in Turin and floor seating it's really nice. My advice: go there if you want to impress someone (no matter who), the food is very good and you... More

It has been a long time since we have been there (back when TA would not accept reviews from non US restaurants) ... but what i recall is a very authentic setting, down to Japanese waiters in traditional garb and floor seating. The food was also very good, but overall expensive. This is a special place if you want to... More
