Positive: - good piemotese food and wines, at at good price-quality rate - friendly service - strategic location, just opposite the movie museum negative - interior is not nice. no music, no decorations, no vibe

This stylish restaurant opposite the Mole Antonelliana, the extraordinary tower in Turin that houses the cinema museum, has an elegant take on traditional Turin dishes, such as Finanziera (chicken giblet stew). Excellent wine list. On the expensive side of the generally well-priced Turin restaurants. Only a few tables in the austere bare-brick dining room, so reservations necessary.

We ate here because of a mention in an NYT article, bit it was also highly recommended by our hotel. This restaurant should be in all the travel books! A large group of us had dinner here. We chose it as we wanted to sample traditional Piedmont cuisine & the food did not disappoint. We chose the menu degustazione and we were not disappointed. The food was very tasty and well plated. The semifreddo al torrone which we had for desert was to die for. The staff are.a.bit cold but very polite

I really like the presentation and food, we were well looked-after and everything was brilliant. I wouldf recommend this place and will return once I've sampled more of Turin!

In two visits, every dish has been perfect. Wonderful, classic regional cuisine using the freshest, finest ingredients. If they have tajarin with truffles, don't miss it. The rabbit is also delicious and light.

Went here after reading a review from the NY Times. Had the dinner course for two. Service was on the slow side, only two servers and a full house. My partner and I were visiting the museo di cinema and were looking for a place nearby to get a good lunch. Jumped on my TA app and lo and behold across the street we were directed to Sotto. We enjoyed a great meal of traditional Piedmontese dishes with a decidedly modern and elegant angle. Don't miss the agnolotti.
