Under the expectations

I booked a table outside because it was a sunny day and the view is lovely, but, once there, they told me the reservation was for an inside table. The restaurant was small and if you don't have a reservation, there's no table for you. Besides that, the food was very good and the people there where very friendly.

There were not many chances on Sunday evening in central Torino where most of popular places are closed. Following the suggestion of hotel concierge we went for a pizza at this restaurant. Service was quite kind and friendly despite the dining rooms were overcrowded (we ate at first floor dining room) and tables were so close to each other that... More

Great food at very reasonable price. Highly recommend! When I was in Torino with my family we were eating there every day and testing many delicious stuff. Especially can recommend the grilled tuna and porcini stuff.

What a great place to sit back and watch the world go by! We were a large group (20+) so we had a set menu. We had 5 courses and the belt definitely needed to be loosened after! The gnocchi and meat were excellent. I sadly didn't have room for the collection of deserts which looked amazing I would go... More

Great food, great atmosphere, even greater view. Go to here. The pizza here is a little different than typical Italy, the crust is a little thicker and a littler soggier. Good stuff.

We tried honey octopus, spaghetti vongole and pizzas; the site is Magnificent and the service great even when we arrived late at night.

Every time I am in Torino (where I am originally from) I love to go to Da Michele. Everything about the restaurant says: cozy, quality, satisfaction. You just cannot get wrong, every day a different menu with typical regional food, using in season ingredients and prepared in a perfect manner. Begin with a portion of farinata, it is the best... It is a lovely family run experience, we loved it. No shows just the reality of hard work, no ornaments, simply good. Better book, otherwise you can wait, it is worth the waiting. If we ever go back to Turin, we will stop for another lunch or dinner, just to inhale the atmosphere. You are almost part of the kitchen... More
