Everything was delicious

We tried honey octopus, spaghetti vongole and pizzas; the site is Magnificent and the service great even when we arrived late at night.

Great food, great atmosphere, even greater view. Go to here. The pizza here is a little different than typical Italy, the crust is a little thicker and a littler soggier. Good stuff.

Every time I am in Torino (where I am originally from) I love to go to Da Michele. Everything about the restaurant says: cozy, quality, satisfaction. You just cannot get wrong, every day a different menu with typical regional food, using in season ingredients and prepared in a perfect manner. Begin with a portion of farinata, it is the best... It is a lovely family run experience, we loved it. No shows just the reality of hard work, no ornaments, simply good. Better book, otherwise you can wait, it is worth the waiting. If we ever go back to Turin, we will stop for another lunch or dinner, just to inhale the atmosphere. You are almost part of the kitchen... More

We were not expecting a genuine "Italian experience", what we got here tonight was gladly beyond our expectations. We arrived without a booking and they welcomed us, this busy saturday evening, with their warm & friendly attitude after a brief evaluation of no-shows. We had grilled Tuscany sausages, spaghetti with clams, grilled fillet, gnocchi with cheese, tiramisu and drank red... More

If you know that you are eating in a tourist hotspot and are realistic then this really is ok. As a family of four with one night in Turin on a national holiday during the city's two week "holiday" where the city is virtually deserted you don't have much choice. That said you could do a lot worse than Da... More

Location is everything here in my view, as you sit at a great spot on Turin's main piazza. An excellent outdoor dining experience therefore. Food was good too. We had a mixed assortment of meat to start with which was a big portion and good quality. And then we had very tasty pizza's, not the thin southern-Italy type, but more... More

Worst service! As we walked in, it was around 15.a polite waiter told us where to seat and right after the old man told us in an very unpolite way that we need to choose quickly. We were shocked as we asked if the kitchen is still on.. Can't complain much of the food but of the service. In the... More

an archetypal italian restaurant: serious about the food, but doesn't take itself too seriously . . . not trying to be anything it is not - a simple restaurant with excellent local food and fair prices. incredibly friendly and family run - interesting, diverse menu, with seasonal specials - but also perfect for a pizza. go before da michele and... This is a very good restaurant. We had to wait a very, very long time to get a table. But, they can't be blamed for how popular they are and the wait was worth it. I had the swordfish. Absolutely fantastic. Very thick and meaty. Cooked excellently. My wife had lamb and loved it and the potatoes it came with.... More
