Write the directions down carefully, you will need to refer to them. But once inside and you start eating, you will find that it was worth it. The room itself is decorated with portraits by local artists and during the day the Circolo dei lettori is a haunt of writers and artists. We had the degustazione tasting menu which was... More

Really hidden away! We walked down Via Bogino to check out the place and make a reservation - no sign of it. Our hotel booked for us and explained it is inside a Palazzo. Found No 9, no mention of the restaurant, entered the palace courtyard still no sign, found a buzzer on one of the two doorways for circolo... More

The first time I give 5 stars. Perfect in every way: - romantic location - very good Piemontese food - nice winelist with a great selection of wines by the glass. Be sure to follow the recommandations of the sommelier! - price -quality very good (most expensive secondo was 21€) it is rather difficult to find. It is inside a... More

Mandatory to reserve in advance. You enter a charming courtyard of one of most elegant mansions in Torino. Adiacent to Circolo dei Lettori club, now become a cultural institution in the center of the city, you go thru a stair and you arrive to this hidden gem. You can breathe here a piece of history of Torino, On the walls,... More

We were invited to lunch with a group of friends, the host has reserved a specific table a month before and to her surprise they have changed the table location without notifying her, so after a rocky start we started to enjoy the different types of wine choosen. The food is good, service friendly and the atmosphere great but what... More

in their work, in their environment, in their job. This restaurant is everything that people on this site claimed it is: a bit hard to find (not if you read the reviews carefully), lots of atmosphere, dignified, excellent service, excellent wine, excellent food. The array of choices from the menu

Tucked away in a historical building just off one of Turin's main central streets, this restaurant is really capable of giving you a literary bohemian feel of when this was more of an Artists' cove than a Reading Club (that's what it is). In any case the hubbub of Culture is pleasantly represented by the varied tester menu (if you... More

Il Circolo dei Lettori is a private literary club, which has opened its doors to the public for the restaurant and cafe. Hidden on the first floor of a typical Turinese palace with a lovely internal courtyard, Il Circolo dei Lettori offers a rare glimpse of this notoriously reserved city's cultural life. I went for a business lunch one day... More
