Overall very good

I have to say that the location is really nice, the very typical Turin style that I love. The service was excellent. The food was very good. It was a business dinner so I did not get to choose the menu, but nevertheless the quality of the food was very high. I am not rating it as excellent because... read more

Torino is a bizarre city where bad dining experiences are not to be excluded. The Circolo dei Lettori is an excellent choice: it may be a bit more pricey than other places, but the premium you pay here is totally worth. Impeccable service, great ambience, very good food: what else do you need to be convinced. I visited the restaurant... More

This place was not as hard to find as described. Food was great, and the wine parings chosen by the sommelier were surprising and excellent. Great experience. High recommended.

It was not very easy to find the restaurant because entrance looked like a Museum entrance and did not really saw any sign about a restaurant seeing from the street. Once you crossed the majestic door I was knowing it should become something special. I had to celebrate the birthday of my lovely wife and followed again the good advices... More

We were a party of 16 and we were concerned that the 7 course tasting menu might be a bit ambitious for them. Not so! It was an excellent meal and I would unhesitatingly go back. Granted, access is not the easiest thing to achieve (!), but once you've negotiated the large imperial looking front doors (turn left and go... More

Write the directions down carefully, you will need to refer to them. But once inside and you start eating, you will find that it was worth it. The room itself is decorated with portraits by local artists and during the day the Circolo dei lettori is a haunt of writers and artists. We had the degustazione tasting menu which was... More

Really hidden away! We walked down Via Bogino to check out the place and make a reservation - no sign of it. Our hotel booked for us and explained it is inside a Palazzo. Found No 9, no mention of the restaurant, entered the palace courtyard still no sign, found a buzzer on one of the two doorways for circolo... More

The first time I give 5 stars. Perfect in every way: - romantic location - very good Piemontese food - nice winelist with a great selection of wines by the glass. Be sure to follow the recommandations of the sommelier! - price -quality very good (most expensive secondo was 21€) it is rather difficult to find. It is inside a... More
