Greatest food experience I have ever had

This is a small restaurant, up a short flight of stairs. Seats about 20 I think. So make reservations. I am not a "foodie", but I enjoy eating out. We ordered the tasting menu - Earth (There is also a Water - i.e. seafood). Basically, we put ourselves in the hands of the restaurant, and we were... read more

We went there on our first night in Turin. I had booked here based on reviews. We both enjoy fusion and we were curious about the tasting menus. Unfortunately what we didn't know was that the tasting menus had to be ordered per 2 persons. Also unfortunate is that due to dietary restrictions and personal preferences there was no menu... More

Dear Sir, We really sorry for what happened. We don't speak english very well so probably we misinterpreted your request. We could not change just one of two "meat menù", so we suggest to order "à la carte", we also recommended to not order more than 2 dishes à la carte because portions are bigger than testing menù, I think... The restaurant is tranquily located in a relaxing zone of town. The atmosphere of the restaurant is a perfect reflection of the staff- serene, precise, calm, and full of vitality. The menu serves as a small glimpse into the wisdom, skills, and brilliant vision of the chef. From start to finish the staff is appropriately available to ensure your wine... More

Great food, bringing one surprise after the other! I'd definitely recommend the "Acqua" tasting menu. We had a great mix of tasty food, extremely fresh ingredients, delicate savours and nice combinations of western and japanese flavors. Presentation and service are up to the food - nothing wrong. Among positive notes: home-made bread and grissini + olive oil pipettes in 3... More

The menu is innovative with some novel presentation touches, eg infused olive oil served in pipettes. We tried one of the tasting menus and every course was exceptional with the slightly spiced steak tartare taking the top spot. The price is extraordinarily low for a restaurant of this standard - they could easily add 50% to the price and you... More

Kido-ism offers Italian-Asian fusion cuisine (which is in itself a very interesting experiment) with a 5 star presentation and an ever ending series of surprises for textures, flavors, colors and aromas. And all this at a price WELL below that of any other Michelin star or "5 star" restaurant. I strongly suggest to try one of the menus, which comprise... More

Even ranked as high as it was, I walked in Kido-ism with suspicion. I wasn't sure how Italian-Asian fusion would work. I mean, that sounds weird, doesn't it? So if not for the fact that it was ranked #1 in T.A., I probably wouldn't have gone. Well, thank god we did. We've been in Europe for over a month now,... More
