This was probably the best meal we had in Turin during our trip - not so much for the food, although that was good, but the whole package. On a very hot evening the inside air-conditioned room was cool and welcoming (although there was also outside seating if you wanted that) and the service charming and friendly without being overdone.... I went there well satisfied that it would have been great, tasting food from Piemonte and Liguria regions. Well it fell far short of my expectations and the whole exercice turned out to be a substandard and lackluster meal, The only expectation which came actually true was the price rather higher than the quality of the whole service would have... The decor is austere, the service isn't rushed (though friendly and relaxed) -- but we were there to taste some true Piedmontese cooking, and we weren't disappointed at all. Prawns and squid on a puree of fagioli and a savoury tarte tatin as antipasti. A shared dish of pumpkin-filled ravioli with a tasty cheese sauce in order to leave room... More

Probably the best restaurant in Turin. Great food: mostly regional cuisine (prepared with local ingredients), nice wine, but not only that - as well the details are very well taken care of: a fantastic bread basket (3 types of grissini, focaccia, white bread rolls), perfectly white linen table cloth and napkins, perfect serving times (fast but allowing enough time to... Restaurant was recommended by hotel, and it was really wonderful. Superb local food and wine, probably some of the best italian food I have ever had. A reasonable price - 3 persons, 3 (big!!) dishes each, including water and wine for €145. Can only be highly recommended.

Centrally located trattoria, very busy on the night we were there. We had booked, which was fortunate as many were turned away. The food was excellent, the service good, our waiter spoke quite good English. The wine list had a good number of regional wines and the waiter was helpful with rrecommendations. We chatted briefly to the couple at the... More

Recommended by my hotel. Great service, great simple food with a twist of flare. Would definitely come back in a blink. I would suggest you book.

A longtime resident recommended this restaurant & we certainly concur with his high marks. Most of the diners appeared to be locals, always a good sign. We opted for the daily tasting menu, which proved an excellent choice. The anchovy appetizer was particularly memorable as was a tagliatelle and truffle dish.

We had an unmemorable evening meal here, sitting at one end of the outdoor, pavement terrace. Being located in a narrow street (the photo of the corner of a piazza is deceptive as that was taken in a square a good 10 minutes' walk from the restaurant), there's not much opportunity for people watching while you're waiting for your food.... I recommended this to some of our Hedonistic Hiking clients having taken a group there in July 2012 and had a fantastic meal. Unfortunately they had a terrible experience - no welcome, rude attitude and average food. I was very upset as it was my recommendation that took them there and we also list it on our website as a...
