Fine Piedmont cooking

Turin has its rough edges but this elegant restaurant on a central square close to all the sights is a haven of peace. Food is very good. Try the fried shrimps to start and veal to follow: both first rate. I would have preferred the stewed peaches covered in chocolate and amaretti warm but it's a... read more

I have been there several times over the last 10 years or so. The quality has become better than the first time. Authentic cuisine from the area and the atmosphere is nice. Service is good as well.

Best veal chop ever according to my husband:-) The restaurant was lovely and the staff friendly. The food was very good. I had the pasta with truffles, which was freshly made and excellent. My husband as mentioned above had the veal chop and was very, very happy. The veal chop he had was breaded and on the bone and excellent.... More

How lovely was this place. We did not have too much time to spend in Turin, so thought we would have a good example of their local food, and while it was quite an expensive night, we were delighted. The service was warm and welcoming and the food was so good. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

While attending a dinner shared by a group of ~40 at a business meeting with spouses/partners, we had a beautiful meal. The presentation was amazing and the service very good.

Solferino it's a wonderful little place! Service is very nice and knowledgeable about the food and wine list. The food is wonderful, but not intimidating, every single thing is made with care and attention to detail with great ingredients. Desert and coffee is a must! One of my favorite places in Turin!

We were there for a date night. Amazing food, incredible service. Real Italian Piedmont dishes: perfect flavors and very good wines. Recommended

We ate dinner there on the last Saturday in May at the recommendation of the woman who owned our B&B. The food was very good and the wine list was extensive. The space was elegant without being fussy. Most impressive was our waiter. His attentiveness was outstanding as was his knowledge of the food. He had several tables and seemed... More
