Regional dishes, elegantly presented

This is an excellent restaurant, tucked into the corner of an elegant piazza between two other eateries. The atmosphere is smart but relaxed, with laughter and conversation travelling across the tables. It isn't 'fane daning',thank goodness. The pasta is made in house; stuffed pasta with smoked buffala mozzarella was delicious. My friends agnolotti were also first rate. My lamb cutlets... More

Located in Piazza Solferino, we stayed on an outside table, enjoying some pleasant afternoon April sunshine. Enjoyed a greatly presented asparagus & Parmaggiano salad, followed by Tagliata DI Fassone. Washed down with Nebbiolo wine. Not our first visit and not planning for it to be our last either.

Although we didn't make reservation and even for italian standards arrived fairly late (around half past nine), the reception was very welcoming and warm. the personnel was very friendly and watchful. We had a excellent diner and the difference was made in the details (a second serving of prosecco, preparing the dressing of the salad at the table, ...).

I do not know how long the staff had been working, but we didn't arrive until after 10pm. If they were tired we couldn't tell, from the young lady who welcomed us in to the gentleman serving our last grappa the service was extremely good. We're not the most practiced travelers and we speak no Italian at all, but we... More

My husband and I were spending only one night in Turin with our two teenage daughters over the Easter weekend. We asked for a recommendation from our hotel (AC Marriott) for a good family restaurant with good food and nice atmosphere. They recommended Solferino and I looked it up on Trip Advisor. The recommendation sounded so good but we were... More

It is a bit expensive but great!!! We will go back for sure. I am vegetarian and generally have problem finding something to eat besides a pasta with pomodoro and basil. This is a great restaurant with not a large menu but with options for different tastes or needs. The staff is great and friendly. Muy buen restaurant!

Just had dinner at Solferino. Delicious food and excellent wine list. Lovely service. Interesting menu. Portions are generous. We had sardines and prawns. Very good. We shared an interesting pasta of home made tiny ravioli - superb. Then veal and venison. Beautifully cooked. We squeezed in puddings. Not sure how.... Lots of nice extras - glass of prosecco when you... More

We found this restaurant by searching on this app and when we found it, it was written full until the 9 of January and we were the 28 of December! I still tried because it seemed like the perfect restaurant for us (it was very close and it had good reviews) so I went to the hotel staff and asked... More

Excellent food and service. one other table with tourists, all others were Italians and it was full. Despite being full, service was still good. We all loved our food and there were vegetarian options. Great ambience and excellent choice of wines to suit all budgets.

Wonderful Piemonte dishes and especially the beef and veal. The tagliatelle and braised veal with polenta were to die for. Interesting wines on the wine list and vey good service.
