We were so looking forward to getting to Turin and trying some of this famous chocolate, hot chocolate and bicerin. What better place to go. Well, the service ain't great. Bicerin is vile. The hot chocolate is ok, NOTHING SPECIAL.

We read somewhere that Turin had a chocolate tour but found it was only in December so we decided to make our own tour. Of all the chocolate shops we found open ( apparently there is a chocolate season) this was the one store that graciously offer samples of each flavor and sold mixed bags of chocolates. Even with our... More

I'm not a chocolate lover but after getting curious by so many good reviews I went to check that out. Fellows, this guy (Guido Gobino) is an artist of chocolate. You will find the best of chocolate mixed with exotic spices and in many different forms. I think, with no exaggerations, I had the best chocolate of my life. The... More

My wife and I were directed to this store by our hotel. The store is clean and filled with all sorts of delicious chocolate delicacies! Try their samples, and you will not be able to stop!!! Then finish your visit with their delicious gelato!!!! Molto Bello!!!!! Yum!!!!!!

Tried a chocolate frappé, which for it's size was expensive at 6 euros. I's say it was about half the size of the smallest Starbucks cup. However, it was some of the best tasting chocolate I have ever had, with reassuring chuncks of dark chocolate in the bottom of the cup when i finished. It's more a shop setup with... More

Saw "Italy Unpacked" with Giorgio Locatelli when they visited Guido Gobino's shop in Turin and just had to go there! It was my husband's birthday and we went for a tasting - divine, sublime, what more can I say? Don't listen to the reviews about cost - even if it was doble it would still be worth it!

What a great place for chocolate gourmets. Elegant, clean, grow-up flavours with range. The gianduiotti with coarse sea salt and extra virgin olive oil are my favourites.By miles. (And I usually prefer 75-80% with chillies.) If you like to eat huge amounts of Gianduiotti Perugina, Cadbury's Dairy Milk or Ghirardelli whatevers, try any of Guido Gobino's range: it will be... This was my 2nd visit to Guido Gobino - last time I tasted an assortment of chocolates & this time I ponied up 5Euro for a Bicerin. (Bicerin is a Torino classic: espresso, chocolate & cream.) Despite being accustomed to paying 1Euro for superb espresso shots, I found Gobino's bicerin worth every cent. The room in the back was comfortable... More

Amazing artisanal gelato, made for them by someone else but incredibly rich and tasty. You can order simple base flavors and then add on Gobino's specialty chocolates and toppings to them. The staff was nice and not too stuffy. Highly recommend the ice cream!
