Very basic place but cheap as chips our meal including a bottle of wine €30 with the tip. Yeah it's not the Ritz but it's cheaper than most places here.

We had a delightful lunch at this pizzeria which has a wood burning oven. After lunch while speaking with the owner I watched the chef make pizzas for other diners. Everything is hand made and fresh. We had a rustic insalata a mare with a porcini pizza and a large bottle of mineral water. With coperto the tab came to... More

We had a reasonably good meal here only last week but felt totally ripped off by the owner a little old grey haired Italian woman in a pink apron. She won't give you a receipt even after questioning her mathematics. We were overcharged and she thought we wouldn't say anything about it but we did and she wasn't at all... More

We had a very fussy teenager with us and this was the only meal we had all week in and around Orta that he didn't cause a fuss and complain about. No frills, just good Italian family hospitality and a menu of virtually any pizza you can imagine, and one litre of wine for 8 euro. The pizzas were perfect.... More

We find it by mistake it's just 1 minute walk from the touristy square with average restaurants Seems like family owned excellent / traditional pizzas Quick service , huge verity, good desserts Very nice for lunch We ordered two pizzas , 2 colas , 2 desserts 30 euro ( which is normal to expensive touristic menu in San giulio )... This is a friendly pizza place 10 seconds off the main square. It definitely worth a visit, with very reasonably priced food and beer served by the most delightfully Italian woman we met. We got pizza to take out a few times, because it's so nice to sit by the water and eat, but they have an inside and outside... More

Small family run restaurant, off main square, modest but great pizza, very pleasant staff. Good place to go if you are just want something tasty but don't want the formality of a restaurant

We didn't eat here until our last night and I am so please we did, this was 'proper Italian' rustic charm in abundance! We were served quickly, and pizza's were prompt, hot and delicious I even ate the crust! The menu is extensive, I mean every variation of pizza you can imagine, with or without cheese. Really pleased we found... More

This restaurant is off the main square and is owned by people from Naples. It serves good neopolitan-style pizza at a moderate price. There's no view, but it sometimes is necessary to get away from the multi-course meals expected at most other restaurants.

We had a decent take-away pizza one night to eat in twilight on the piazza - that we had to go back and ask the restaurant to cut into slices for us - and a not very good penne arabbiata for a lunch the next day. Stick with the pizza! It's one of the few cheap places to eat in... More
