Largely car-free, pretty area with plenty of car-parking on the hill above it. The whole town is an art treasure, small winding streets and buildings dating back centuries. Can get rather crowded with day trippers so go early and avoid Sundays

This is an amazing little town, charming, unspoilt and beautiful - with a perfect Italian square, a view of the island, excellent water taxis, great cafes, some nice shops, a nice "hidden" pathway along the water and more. This is a gorgeous, charming, "time stood still" type of place. Definitely worth the visit!
