Good food

We enjoyed good food sat outside in the square. Pleasant location, nice touch of grissinis tied in a lace napkin. Food was good, if a little pricey for what it was. I guess you are paying for the location and the ambience. Good overall though.

Lovely outdoor seating on a nice piazza, well decorated tables, ok service but honestly food was merely good.

The place is family-owned and offers very good food from Piedmonte. Father and son run the place and welcome you. The food is excellent and generous. You can find traditional dish with a modern twist such as "gnocchi del la nonna" or lamb chops with hazelnuts. The decor is modern, design, with a mix of wood, brick and nice white... More

I had dinner with 10 collegues in "Angolo del Beato". It is a restaurant of my home town but it was long time I was not having dinner there. First I want to highlight the warmfull and polite reception. This was not a postive characteristics in the past of this restaurant. The restaurant is in an ancient building ('500) with... More

The place is great, smart, fashionable, design, so when you get in you expect to have un unforgettable dinner. Then you get the greatest delusion: you get ordinary food, merely "poured into the dish", really nothing special and very far away from Piemonte's very food tradition. The bill really high. When we got out we were really angry, all a... More

I have been bringing friends to L'Angolo Del Beato Restaurant for the past 16 years. It is always the Best Langhe Culinary Experience !!! Full Stop !!!. The restaurant had moved from the original, previous location to the current one just 2 years ago. Both locations are great, although I have preferred the previous one just a bit over the... More

The dining-room is large and comfortable, set with wonderful starched white tablecloths..."tradizione" as we like it ! The food is excellent, from the original local appetizers, to the marvellous pasta (and what a variety of them !)...you can see, through the glass door, the "nona" age 90+ preparing the most delicious "agnolotti"... The meat choice was difficult to pick out... More

The hotel recommended this restaurant to us so we went. Piemontes food and very good quality.Especially the meat was excellent! Nice meal but..... why was the "owner" (??) so helpful for the locals whom he knew and "grumpy" to us. We had to wait very long because they were serving the locals first.. They all got an explanation about the... More

I returned to this restaurant after having discovered it by accident some years ago when I was travelling in Piedmont. I returned there now because the food was so memorable that it had stuck with me over the years. By now, the restaurant had evolved into a more suitable setting and style. The building is a lovely amalgamate of old... More

The restaurant is a great option if you want to taste typical and authentic Piemontese food. A very nice ambient - now in a new address, but with the same old management and staff - where you can taste all nice options from the great Piemontese tradition. Start with a selection of antipasti and you already feel great. You can... More
