Great place to taste local wines and have lunch!

Loved our lunch here. The owner looked after us personally throughout and helped translate the menu and talk us through some good wines to try. Both food and wine are delicious! You can buy wine to take away also which is a great feature. The list includes drink in price and take away (cheaper... read more

I loved this place. A perfect spot on an overwhelmingly hot July afternoon in Italy. The proprietor was very gracious and helped me select several lovely glasses of wine to my liking, which runs to the very dry, nebbiolo. The food was outstanding--grilled meats and marinated vegetables. He shared a very interesting book with me, one about the wines and... More

Had a late dinner with wine partners. Food well prepared and high quality, place comfortable and wine selection provided wide choice of Piemonte wines.

This restaurant and wine shop combines a laid back and friendly atmosphere, with exquisite service and good food. It is located in the old town of Asti, near the shopping street and the architecture attractions. The street itself is rather unattractive, but the inside of the restaurant is cozy and nice. We had a "à la carte" dinner for New... More

We were the first in the restaurant when we arrived at 730PM. Even though there was noone, it took the wait staff quite long to attend to us. However, once the maitre d' came for us, it was all good from there. She made some really good food and wine recommendations.. as we were not too hungry, we shared a... More

This place came highly recommended to us and was certainly very full, but I can't imagine why. I really don't like to can a restaurant as I know how much work goes on in the kitchen, but this was quite a let-down. They have an extensive and good value range of wines by the bottle, but the choice by the... More

I was fortunate to eat lunch at this traditional style restaurant with a colleague who lives in Asti. The inside of the restaurant is lined with wine bottles from local vineyards. The menu had a lot of variety with several interesting pasta, meat, and fish dishes. The warm bread from out of the oven and the wonderful aroma filling the... More

This restaurant offers great meals even though the outside looks ordinary. The meat and sea food was great. The service was also very good.

Having dinner with a group of 8 allows a good over view of the dishes on offer. The overall opinion was very mixed. The pasta and ravioli was disappointing where the stewed beef and seabass were exceptional. 3 of the group had the veal for mains and all three left on the plate, the sauce was quiet replusive. The service... More

We have been lucky enough to have been in Asti 3 time and this is diffidently a favorite restaurant of ours. The food is of high quality and very typically Italian. That is, it is not a tourist spot. The menu changes all the time and the the variety and presentation is fantastic. We will be back again in Asti... More
