I've been here during the Truffle fair. The restaurant was fully booked. The quality of the service and the staff is very attentive and lovely. We tried almost all the menu. Don't miss the mix entries dishes to share to have a little try of the whole Piedmontese cuisine. The raw meat was very tasty and high quality, the gnocchi... More

This restaurant had been recommended by our hotel. It was fabulous. Unfortunately they are so popular we could only get in for lunch mid week. Make an advanced reservation. We were greeted by one of the owners who explained the entire menu to us. After we made our first choice for shared appetizers, rather than pressuring us to keep ordering... More

Recommended by our hotel receptionist this was a gem of a place.to eat. A family anxious to help in every way and a menu to please all tastes. The quality of the food , the cooking and its presentation were outstanding matched by an extensive wine list.certainly a restaurant to place on you list if visiting Asti.

Very friendly staff particularly for tourists. They first asked our preferred language and then from there took us through the entire menu with near perfect English from the waiter. We went because we had seen good reviews on trip advisor from other users, particularly for the carne cruda (a type of beef tartare) and the wild boar with prunes. The... More

We were stopping overnight in Asti and had read reviews of this restaurant. Our hotelier managed to secure us a table for two at what was a fully booked restaurant on a Monday night. The food was excellent. I live in France but the carna cruda was far better than many steak tartare that I have eaten. The rabbit ravioli... More

Classic with a twist. I'm still dreaming of the boar with prunes. My favorite dish in almost two weeks of excellent food. Also enjoyed the terrine of white meats with almonds and apricots, other cold starters were also very good. Little ravioli stuffed without butter or sauce were also very good. Inside dining only, Prices reasonable with wine and exceptional... More

This restaurant is now easier to find, having moved slightly further from the centre of town, but onto a main thoroughfare. We liked the carne cruda (my daughter and wife), the terrine of white meat with apricots and almonds (1 grandson), Vitello Tonnato (son-in-law and other grandson) and the tomato tartlets (me) as starters. The raviolini stuffed with borage (yes,... More

Selected the restaurant based on reviews in Trip Advisor. The restaurant did not disappoint. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were met at the door by the head waiter. He said the air conditioning was out in the restaurant on one of the hottest days of the year. He said he would understand if we decided to eat elsewhere.... More

Behind an unassuming façade is one of the jewels of Piedmontese gastronomy. Following the recommendations of TripAdvisor reviews, a chef friend and I went to Campanaro to sample the menu degustazione ... eight warm and cold antipasti which, all together, constitute a whole meal. The antipasti were brought out little by little, and we savoured the flavours and textures of... More
