We had a wonderful evening at Campanaro. The food was delicious, and the chef and his son were lovely hosts who provided excellent recommendations for food and wine. The restaurant was full and we were the only tourists there- which is what we prefer when we travel. Highly recommended!

There was nothing not to like at this place. Dinner was like dining with your best friends. Waiter made recommendations, explained the menu (we spoke very little Italian) and made us feel like we were regular customers.

Asked for food and wine recommendations and received a beautiful selection of cold and hot starters to share and for secondi we had donkey ravioli and three meat ravioli - delicious.... Local wine accompanied and went down a treat. Highly recommend the experience..

Had a late lunch the last day in Piemonte. Food, wines and service were perfect. Prices affordable. Recommend the rabbit dish. We got to know that the restaurant is moving down the road to a better site with a wine cellar. Good luck and keep it up.

The welcoming attitude, perfect wine recommendations, the menu and the meal were just perfect. Shortly the restaurant will move to a nearby location. I will keep track and visit next time for sure.

Wow, this is quite a place. Went last night with a friend that's a vegetarian, and while I started with the Vitello Tonnato (the best I have had in Italy in the past 2 weeks), he bagan with the Sformato di Aspargi - both were beautifully presented, obviously well constructed and even tastier than they looked, which is saying a... Extraordinary food, very nice host, excellent wines for a very reasonable price. A must in Asti if you like to eat good and high quality Piemonte food.

The white truffle season had just started when we visited and I had the meal of my life with an excellent spaghetti with white truffles accompanied with a young nebbiolo. Our host was really accommodating and provided an excellent taster of the entire antipasto selection. The onions baked in salt and stuffed mushrooms were delectable. We wanted to try the... More

A small but fantastic place! Not one dish I didn't want to try... I actually tried many... Everything was succulent. The gnocchi... A dream... The veal tartare... Amazing...the brasato al Barbera... Desserts...such as the bonnet... And... last but least, prices are more than decent considering the quality and quantities... An absolute must if one is nearby!

Simply amazing!!! When a dinner becomes an experiece to be remebered! The restaurant is quite small, with a nice atmosphere (reservation might be a good idea to avoid bad surprises). The owners are friendly and will tell you the secrets of they successful delicatessen! Try the "agnolotti"! They are specialized in Asti traditional cuisine. The prices are proportional to the...
