Good but not what I was looking for

The best thing I can think of is that I had the best bottle of wine of my trip here and for me it is very important. This restaurant is very imprisive for a town this size but you can find similar in many towns and cities in Italy I was looking for something more homy and unique what I... read more

The restaurant is a bit of a walk from the town's center and in a local neighborhood. We arrived for a late lunch but came with out reservation. The owner took our order, chatted a little and suggested a wine. We shared a pasta followed with Tripe and Cinghiale. All were great. The owner came back over to chat after... More

The welcome is warm, the restaurant attractively laid out and furnished, the service attentive (I am seriously lactose intolerant and they went the extra mile), but we felt for what we were charged the standard of cooking could have been a little higher. The bill came to 95 euros for an antipasto, a primo, a secondo and coffee for two... More

We were lucky to have dinner on a Friday evening as a group of 13 people, the majority of which spoke French. Diulio and his son were really friendly and spoke French which was really helpful. Lovely place. Great food (local cuisine, fresh products) including a selection of dishes with truffle and great value for money.

We had read a few reviews and figured that Campanaro couldn't hold up to the hype, but it did! The service was impeccable, and the food was delicious. We never saw a wine list, but they suggested amazing wines which we loved. We had the mixed plate of anti-pasta which was full of variety with fabulous flavors. We had a... More

Two days ago we visited this lovely restaurant and bought some wine the day after. It has a great atmosphere and the owner is very passionate about his food and wines that are all Piemonte style. We had a great dinner, the rabbit was delicious and the Barolo an experience on its own. Prices are more than reasonable. A true... More

What a great meal we had at Campanaro. Not only was the service fantastic and in three languages, but the food was perfect. It was everything we wanted and much more. The pasta is homemade and was better than anything we've ever had! So good we are going back tonight! This meal made our stay in Piemonte even better!

We had a wonderful evening at Campanaro. The food was delicious, and the chef and his son were lovely hosts who provided excellent recommendations for food and wine. The restaurant was full and we were the only tourists there- which is what we prefer when we travel. Highly recommended!
