Enjoyed fabulous lunch of risotto and Goulash di stinco di maiale (pork calf) with potato flan, out of this world good... from a real foodie. Great wine/service complement this casual but refined restaurat, in the heart of Pavia. Gracious host showed us the ample wine selection in his cellar. After a week of beautiful weather, on a cloudy day, this... More

I had a fantastic dinner experience at La Korte in Pavia. The atmosphere of the restaurant was fabulous with the brink walls and surrounded by wine and interesting objects from around the world. The mixed appetizers we excellent, spinach risotto phenomenal, and main course delightful. The wait staff was very friendly and handled our big group very well. And how... More

Week in week out, I love the food. Sometimes they serve up classics, other times imaginative inventions ( like the superb radiccio sformatino).

Vincenzo, the owners son and accomplished sommelier was great in recommending food and the right wine to fit. Also gave us a taste of some homemade salami (by his dad) - excellent! Pasta and fish were... More

The place is very good if you need a quality restaurant with space (I went there with a dozen of colleagues). They have a small choice of dishes, but they are all extremely tempting and you will end up in trouble about what to chose. To start, they served us a plate of different hams and salami, and also some... More

Sunday spur of the moment trip to Pavia and where do we eat? A run through foodie sites and follow up calls turned up only landside menues of cheese and fat laden cooked foods. Nothing wrong with that, but not our cup of tea. Without much hope, we stumble upon this place in a nondescript square far from downtown. Once... More
