The anti pasti consisted of different deep fried vegetables, very boring. My main dish was a ball of smoked mozzarella on raw and plain salad leaves with a small bowl of tomato stew - nothing to get excited about, for sure. We also got a lasagne, a bottle of water and two beers; total price 50 euros. Would not recommend... More

Nice ambiance to this place and it's in a very nice and 'locals' area! Order Mozarella here and nothing else! The burratta I ordered was the best I've ever had! Pasta was very good but nothing extra special. Make sure you get some kind of mozarella over there and I'm sure you will have a very good experience!

I must admit I am a bit surprised by the bad ratings here. We have been coming to the brera obika, as well as others (rome, firenze,...) for years and we have never once experienced any problem, any rude staff, any bad food. The mozzarella and other meals, epecially the lasagna, have always been top notch and close to the... More

The receptionist at our hotel recommended this bar and my wife and I arrived just as the Italy v Costa Rica WC game, being shown on a large screen, was kicking off. The bar was fairly packed - which all added to the atmosphere. We took advantage of the aperitivo offer and were not disappointed. The mozzarella was superb and... More

We had lunch in the terrace on a Saturday in July and enjoyed the experience quite a lot. When we arrived we were told we would had to wait 30 min or so but we actually got our table much faster than that. We tried different dishes with their mozzarella and all of them were pretty good (the traditional mozzarella... More

This bar has the best mozzarella in Milan and during the aperitivo hours, by ordering a cocktail (that comes in a large water glass, talk about quantity..!) you get to eat everything you want and as many times you want it from a variety of different canapés,made by high quality seasonal ingredients the chef could get his hands on and of... Having passed up on a place that had been recommended due to it being too costly, we were wandering hungrily in the Brera area and opted for lunch here. It is smartly decorated and gave us the best "free" bread that we'd had to date. The fried mozarella came with fried sage leaves which were yummy. Our pizza and pasta... More

Having walked around the Brera area of Milan for quite a while, the need for satisfaction of hunger arose. Obika, conveniently located looked inviting and interesting, even though the staff were somewhat disengaged when we asked for a table. There appeared to be empty tables and counter stools inside, but we were asked to sit outside under the umbrellas. That... More

I was curious about this place especially with all the accolades. We had the smoked mozzarella, roasted artichokes, croquettes and pasta. The wine and the croquettes were delicious and although I don't much like smoked cheese, the smoked mozzarella was tasty. The bread was stale, the pasta was average at best and the artichokes were warm as if they had... More

I went to Milan this weekend and had lunch on Saturday at Obika (Brera area). We were seating with my friends at the big high table at the back of the restaurant, I had hung my hand bag on a hook under the table. At the end of the lunch, my bag was missing! No one came near the table... More
