Ok but not great

Obviously beeing in Duomo area we can expect restaurant to be over priced for what you get. Terrasse was nice but the overall experience is medium. Did not especially like or dislike the food. Did enjoy or hate the wine. Did not like or dislike the service Di overall it is a just an average... read more

We found this place in the pouring rain. It had a covered outdoor area that we found delightful. It looked so fancy, we almost did not go in, but after looking at the menu and the ambiance, we found it to be the perfect place for lunch. And the food was good, also.

We were among the first diners the evening we arrived at Ristorante Charleston, the menu looked good and they have an outdoor area that is covered, with glass panels that open and close to let in the night air or keep out the rain, both of which were needed. The staff sat us immediately, combined tables for our party of... More

Excellent ristorante just round the corner from The Duomo. Usually crowded but the staff always finds a chair or two somehow. Ate there twice during our 3 day stay in Milan. The food was excellent, tasty, real Italian treat. Even in busy times we did not wait for long. For the central location the price was appropriate, definitely recommended.

sorry, this restaurant does not represent the good italian food and service. The waiters know you are a tourist, and they don't care what you say or do. They just give you food and that's it. The food is overpriced and not really good. Avoid this place, there are many other good restaurants!

I am honestly surprised at some of the bad or expensive reviews of this restaurant. It is nearby duomo and naturally a bit expensive but the food is definitely worth every cent. There are many more expensive and highly rated restaurants in trip advisor reviews that are far worse. I will continue to go back every time for sure. They... More

The food was not great at all. Small portions, extremely overpriced, you even need to pay €7 to use knives and forks, so we were told. Waiters are rushed and not polite. They have a bread drawer, where they throw in rolls that was not eaten by previous guests and then pick the rolls out again for the new guest... More

Ok I know, the famous design week makes Milan really crowded but this does not give the restaurant staff to yell and ignore the customers. If you are working in a restaurant in a touristic city, that's your choice mostly. This does not give you the right to be rude to your customers waited for 40 minutes to be seated!... More

the price is not comparable to the food and service - too much money for extremely small portions. The salad was not tasty at all. Moreover, you have to pay 16euros for 4 persons for a small piece of bread! In conclusion the whole experience was not good, I would never go again to this place for any reason and... More
