Lovely little place in Milan, not far from Metro Stop: Porta Venezia. I recommend the starters and pastas. Very good, especially the antipasta and the burrata. Locals and tourists eat side by side in a cosy enviroment. Prices are very reasonable. (Oh and they have great bread!)

This restaurant was recommended by our host at the apartment where we stayed, who goes there often as it is not expensive & has great food. We were in Milan for 5 nights and went there twice, would have gone 3 times but got back too late from a day out. Staff were very attentive, spoke very good English and... More

You'll know you're in the right place when realising you're the only foreign customer there. Don't go straight for the primi and secondi. Here you have to spend your money on antipasti. They are simple but incredibly good and tasty, tak some burratta with pomodorini, some olive ascolane and fried small meat balls. Then just order 5-6 "arrosticini" per person.... More

In a small street in Milan rather far from the elegant city center you will find this small restaurant with cooking inspired by the regional cuisine in Abruzzo, a province in Italy that is not among the better known. So, why do people que to get into this restaurant. Simply because the food is very good, the atmosphere extremely nice... More

This was a little outside the centre of the city, perhaps it felt longer as it was raining heavily the day we went. The restaurant was in the Michelin guide and it didn't disappoint. We arrived early (7.30pm) and we're the first guests of the evening. We each ordered a pasta as primi and a main dish. Would we waited... More

We choose this restaurant because we really fancy the idea to have a dinner in an authentic Trattoria. The vibe is what you expect. Easy going, checked tovaglie, big portion of food and at the end of the dinner a bottle of Amaro left on the table to enjoy on the house:))))))) The food was simple but nice and really... More

A very special place to eat in the city. Excellent food from South Italy. I'm from Milan and I often go there with good friends... Spaces are a little small, but you have to experience it!

Good food, good service and nice clima. Bread very good. It is a little tight but ok for a osteria/cantina place. Sudenly arrive the musicians (2) playing italian classics and... better stop talking and enjoy! A coin is wellcome for the fast performance. Go with your family!

I can only hazard a guess as to why this restaurant isn't rated higher - perhaps it's because it's a little off the usual tourist track, maybe it doesn't look trendy enough or maybe the locals are keeping it quiet so that it doesn't get overrun with outsiders. Whatever the reason, it certainly isn't anything to do with the food...... More
