I recently had dinner at Trattoria del Pescatore with business associates. It was a Monday evening and we must have telephoned the restaurant 20+ times between 7-8 p.m. to make a reservation. No one answered the phone and we assumed the restaurant was closed, even though their website indicated they were open Monday-Saturday. We decided to drive over and see... More

I was referred to this restaurant by a local friend, otherwise it would've been very hard to find. If you are looking for real local food, this is the place. Hey we where the only diners who didn't know the owner by name! It is a totally no frills place with very decent process and wonderful food. I had an... More

One of the best places to eat fish in Milan, indeed. The lobster is simply great. Prices are high, but it is worth trying. The al issue is that this place is so full that booking is almost an adventure. And the tables are so close that you cannot avoid listening to your neighbor. If you are with friends it's... More

It's not easy to get a table in this restaurant if you don't book in advance. But when you make it, it's definitely worth it. Nice interiors, resembling Italian countryside houses. Seafood is great. I had a branzino with artichokes that was quite an experience. On top of this, the owners are fun and the prices are fair. One of... More

It is always interesting to read the reviews of the restaurant you have just eaten in, sometimes it seems as if it is a different place altogether, but hey that's what reviews are about, it's how you perceive and enjoy a place that you wish to share with others. We went there for lunch. This really is a lovely friendly... More

I've been here several times and never disappointed. For me, this is a place which has a very good mix of food quality, friendly staff, informal atmosphere and value for money. Sardinian cheese and mirto (Sardinian liqueur) are offered at the end of the meal. It's quite hard to get a table if you haven't booked it in advance. Looking... More

Superb 'local' restaurant with fantastic fish. The lobster tomato and onion dish was to die for! We had to book 2 weeks in advance and when we went it was full of locals - always a good sign! Good staff, good wine and excellent value!
