The food si great, but the place is packed

One of the best places to eat fish in Milan, indeed. The lobster is simply great. Prices are high, but it is worth trying. The al issue is that this place is so full that booking is almost an adventure. And the tables are so close that you cannot avoid listening to your neighbor. If you are with... read more

Absolutely one of the best places for fish that I have ever been to, the quality is really grand, the food is typical Sardinian-Catalan. It makes me remember of my grandmother, who lived in Alghero (Sardinia) and would not compromise on the quality of fish. Great place, highly recommended, reservation is a must.

It was our second visit to the restaurant this time. It was crowded with some big Italian groups but the food was great. Their famous Catalana and huge crusty bread were enjoyable. Except for the difficulty in making reservations (As they don’t answer the phone, go and reserve the table.), the restaurant is worth visiting. We’ll go back for more.

The restaurant is more famous with it's Catalana with lobster dish, however, from fish carpaccio to owen cooked fishes, all are delicious. Not to forget pasta with seafood or lobster, such an experience... The family is from Sardenia, so the dishes are... Superb people, owner to staff! It is always a pleasure to dine in Pescatore! I recently had dinner at Trattoria del Pescatore with business associates. It was a Monday evening and we must have telephoned the restaurant 20+ times between 7-8 p.m. to make a reservation. No one answered the phone and we assumed the restaurant was closed, even though their website indicated they were open Monday-Saturday. We decided to drive over and see... More

I was referred to this restaurant by a local friend, otherwise it would've been very hard to find. If you are looking for real local food, this is the place. Hey we where the only diners who didn't know the owner by name! It is a totally no frills place with very decent process and wonderful food. I had an... More
