Traditional Italian but reasonably priced for Milan.

We had a reasonable meal here. It was recommended by our hotel and only a few minutes walk away. Food was uninspiring but well executed but the primo plate was a little disappointing and rather bland. We did however enjoy our veal second course. Service was efficient throughout and wine list very... read more

I had heard so many good things about this restaurant before coming which at the end, at least in my case, were not really really experienced during my dinner. The restaurant is nice, the food was good but nothing special, the service was not at the level of such a restaurant the waitress were a bit stressed and in hurry... More

This is the second time I visited this restaurant. Last was 3 years ago. I went for a ski trip in Switzerland and stop by Milan. We were well received at the entrance and was given a table that can sit 8 persons although we have only 5. Probably due to early reservation. The pasta was superb. My favorite was... More

well, nothing much to add, the place is wonderful, old style real italian food. Nothing so original, only the best risotto all a milanese, the best carcioffi and probably the best people in town come here.

We were recomended to this restaurant by the Concierge of our hotel. I wanted to try the best Ossobuco in town and he sent us there. Old style, old people, presentation less than impressive and by far my Ossobucco is much better. Super pricey! Don't recoment.

A beautiful historic building. Excellent tagliolini with white truffles and a good filet with a cognac sauce. We enjoyed our dinner very much. Friendly staff. Very quiet when we went but that is apparently unusual. Was recommended by the 4 seasons concierge and by 2 local business friends and for good reason. Fairly formal dress is advisable! It says on... Our meals here were very good. It is a bit pricey, but the food is definitely on par with the cost. Service was very friendly. It is a formal restaurant, so I would suggest dressing at least business casual. I'd also recommend getting reservations. It was fairly busy while we were there.

The building itself is worth a visit to this Milanese landmark. The population includes VIPs, foreigners, fashionistas and business people and the average age has definitely gone down since my last visit, a couple of years ago. The food is averagely good (Although I had a great spider crab - granseola in Italian - a rarity outside Venice) and the... More

My boyfriend and I were looking for a romantic place to enjoy one of our last nights in Milano. Prior to departing for Italy, we had found this restaurant on the internet, and then we stumbled across it on our first day exploring Milano. We took this as fate that we needed to eat here. We made reservations for a... More

We only had a single business lunch in the restaurant, so we cannot really evaluate it thoroughly. The restaurant is nicely located downtown, features a historical formal setting, with separate 'vestiaire' service and formally dressed waiters. A surprisingly affordable lunch got us in and out within the hour. Dishes were good, yet not exceptional. One would have to return for... More
