A bit touristy but still serves excellent Italian

There were no locals there when we went for dinner. So our tourist sensor went on high alert. Having said that, the menu is only in Italian (no english). The waiters are all older gentlemen that seem to have worked there for a long time and know the menu inside out. They really take their time... read more

Went here twice for lunch. Had an excellent waiter, Hermes. No English on menu's. Wait staff was very helpful. Two very good meals. Restaurant was cozy and comfortable. Favorite dining spot in Milan.

Bice was a nice place for a business dinner close to the center city area. The food and wine were delicious. Several of us ordered the steak, which we all enjoyed. I would also recommend the peach desert!

We discovered Bice in Japan when we used to go for long lunches at Bice Tokyo which was next to my office there. So when we went to Milan it was top of the list to try the original, which is much more humble location than the top of the Dentsu Building in Tokyo. We loved the Bice Milan which... More

We have eaten in Bice in Milan, New York, London and Palm Beach and without a doubt Milan is the best. Lunch was a treat. Starting with a spaghetti amatriciana which was al dente. Then scallop of veal with porchini muchrooms simply perfect. My wife had a salad with shrimp and avocado then kamut pasta with pommodoro. Excellent The menu... More

Recommended by a local -Milanese- when we asked for an elegant Italian restaurant to have a farewell dinner. Elegant place; also cozy... Nice looking from outside; simple and nice decoration inside. Very polite, very good, tentative staff; very happy with them. Food was delicious as well. Starters all high quality. I liked the home made pasta a lot; I had... More

My wife and I did not agree about this restaurant. It is a nice place, divided into several rooms, and was busy, but while I enjoyed the food my wife was less impressed. It is not a cheap restaurant, but it is not in a cheap part of town, so no complaints about that. My tuna in sesame was very... More

This restaurant serves you well in all aspects, the team operating Bice really know what it is all about. Front of house is as it really should be, dealing with local identities and blow-ins alike. And the kitchen (run by chef-husband) knocking out superb food which is well worth the Bice visit. We were the last to leave the lunch... More

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
