quiet place to eat

Quiet place to eat and the price is also great. You can get a good met and French-fries. The restaurant is small but it has a good atmosphere.

This was our first meal ever in Italy and was one of the best of our whole trip. Excellent choice of antipasto which could have been a meal in itself. The restaurant was good value for money with a generous selection of dishes. Next time we are in Milan would definitely revisit this restaurant

The food here is delicious! The service is excellent, and the staff very friendly - not so much to disturb your meal, but if you ask them questions, they are happy to share information with you.

We went into this place because it was the only place open on a Monday night. It has an odd theme for a restaurant in the heart of Milan -but - it didn't matter anyway. We ended up having the absolute best meal we had during our entire 2 week trip to Italy. Food and service was excellent.

We started with the meat antipasti which was excellent. My husband I both ordered fillet steak Florentine not realizing that it was a T-bone steak which at 20 euro each was great value. However I ordered my steak well done and it was not as well cooked as I would have liked. I'm British and we are not so good... More

This place is awesome. Went two nights in a row because the service and prices were great. The sea bass is a must have and was cooked perfectly. Complimentary limoncello both nights.

Then you'll recognise pictures of troy Donahue and Sandra dee pasted all over the walls. Very welcoming restaurant and good choice of dishes. Staff are helpful and we had squid ink risotto, spaghetti with garlic and chilli and veal with lemon. All mouth-wateringly tasty. Wine is from about €15 to €60 - we had a bottle for €20 - no... Even if the interior still is from the movie A Summer Place the restaurant has changed name but it's still easy to find. The food was excellent especially the Spaghetti Aglio. Very nice place and atmosphere and we'll return next time we're in Milan.

I don't know when this changed name from A Summer Place, but it must be a recent change. This restaurant seems to have changed name every couple of years. I hope the current incarnation lasts. We had wandered past, checking out the nearby Il Carpaccio for a return visit after a year away from the city and noticed that this... More

After spending three nights in Rome this place was very good value, with great food and service to match. The portions were generous so we didn't make it to dessert. Would definitely return.

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
