After walking around Milan for several hours we were looking for a place that was nearby the center, yet a little more peaceful. Agnello was on a side street and fit the bill. We went early, about 6:00 (scandalous for Italy) and were the only ones there that time. Dinner was really good. I had the veal steaks and my... More

Friendly attentive staff, nice food and wine. Can't ask for more. While located close to the Duomo, I would not have called it a "tourist trap". I would eat there again.

The food here was good, and makes it worth a visit. What made it special, however, were the extra touches. We were served a small plate of vegetables and dips to start, a bread basket to accompany our meal, and complimentary lemon sorbet and fruits to end. Wine came in glass tubes, which we were offered as souvenirs. The decor... More

Well what a surprise in stumbling across this restaurant. The food was beautiful, especially the prawn taglioni. They served lemon sorbet in shot glasses after our main meal which was a nice touch. The service was attentive and would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Didn't start so wel but ended up being the best meal we ate in Milan. The food was excellent. My wife had duck and I had lamb. Waitress was very friendly when she warmed up. Was very cold and off to begin with. When I had difficulty finding a suitable wine she become very helpful, brought 5 different bottles out... More

This was recommended to me by a local Milanese guy who I work with. It was seriously average leaning towards poor and expensive at €140 for two which include a €30 bottle of wine and a two course dinner. And the decor.............what were they thinking !! It wasn't bad .............. it just wasn't good. I was quite disappointed to be... More

Although close to the Duomo, this restaurant offers an excellent price/quality. I got the bruschetta offered by the house, the tagliata was tender and accompanied by fresh Italian vegetables. The wine was a local product, but there is plenty of choice, next time I promised my companion to go for the Tignanello on offer. All in all a recommendable place... More

I loved this restaurant. Barbara had set us up to go there before the opera early one evening at 6pm. They presented us with a very good 3 course meal that we could get through in ample time to get to La Scala. We went back again for a dinner of pasta and salad on Friday. Very great.

Located just behind the Duomo. We chose this over a more touristy Trattoria Royal and wondered of we shouldn't have gone for the later. The decor is cool grey modern and you expect something slick. Instead we got rather shabby menus and a large but confusing wine list. The food when it finally arrived was nicely presented and good -... More

My wife and I were on vacation in Milan and stumbled upon this restaurant late one evening after looking at the Duomo. We were instantly seated and the staff was very friendly. The food was great, and we both had pizza and it was excellent. The wine was also outstanding. The waiter was very friendly and even helped with directions... More
