The best meals I have ever had!

Found this restaurant whilst walking around on our first night in Milan and basically never left for the 3 days we were there! The best service I have ever received by Enzo and Gabry - could not do enough for us. Food was amazing along with the drinks and huge beers! Will never have a dominos or... read more

It is not cheap (105 EUR for 3 people at lunch), but it is excellent - and also kind of fancy to have been eating lunch at Galleria Vittorio Emanuelle II. From we entered the door, we where greated be a great staff, no language problems, explenations about the name and the various red cats on display, great food. Actually... More

We were a little concerned when we realised that the restaurant is actually inside the Galleria Vittoria Emanuele (most listings give the tiny Via Ugo Foscolo as the address). The food was (as expected) not exactly cheap but very good, the menu was extensive, they offer a range of wines by the glass or half bottles, the decor is nice... More

This restaurant is tourist trap but you are expecting it to be a tourist tap because it is in the centre of Milano. However you are expecting delicious food in parallel with the expensive prices. The desert was delicious but Risotto was ok, nothing extraordinary about it.

There were five of us. We were hungry and tired after exploring Milan and the Galleria and were looking for somewhere welcoming and not too expensive. The food at La Locanda was elegantly presented and comparable to the much more fancier eateries across the plaza. The soup was delectable while the pizzas came hot and tasted so delicious. We had... I wish there was a rating between "average" and "very good" because that is where this restaurant landed for me. The service was excellent, but bordered on being a little campy. I had the grilled octopus as an appetizer - it was nicely cooked, but the arugula it was resting on was undressed and kind of blah. I was torn... More

I went for a walk my first night in Milan and saw several restaurants inside the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele but they all looked like tourist traps. I decided to give this restaurant a shot and am glad I did. The service was really good and the food was amazing. I had the veal and risotto, which I would highly recommend.... More

Me and my partner decided to try this restaurant as were visiting Milan for the Ed Sheeran concert. we were waited on hand and foot by the loveliest waiter Emmanuel, we ordered the Chateaubriand which was cooked to our preference and cut the table and served with roasted vegetables and potatoes. Emmanuel never left us poring our own drink or... More

We discovered this little gem inside the Galleria. We were looking around at the other places but ending up choosing this place and we definitely did not regret that. The place has a romantic atmosphere and intimate setup. Food was great with big portions. As expected, the price was above average compared to many other countries but when the check... More
