Good stop for fine dining as a vegetarian

During my stay in Milan, I did have some problems in finding exactly what I wanted... as a vegetarian, I love cheese, pizza and pasta - this is one of the reasons I wanted to visit Italy!! I searched for restaurants - but most vegetarian only were actually vegan only and I've had plenty of that in... read more

It is very good to know a restaurant in the center of the city where you can allways find good food. This time we were there as a group of four for lunch and again very happy with the result. We had a late lunch and everybody ordered different dishes. All were very tasty. May be it is not the... More

Located in the Vittorio Emanuele II Galleria, this restaurant is very classy and the perfect choice before or after going to the opera (or something similar!). We had checked out the menus at all the restaurants in the galleria before selecting this one for lunch, prior to the matinee opera at La Scala. We were not disappointed! The service was... More

Great location and the best Italian dishes for a very good price. Pasta is fantastic as well as the "Arroz a la milanesa". We had the best experience, the service is great. Familiar atmosphere The desserts, a must try.

Having been to Italy and couldn't get good Italian food. This place sets the score right. The truffle pasta scores 100 marks!! Salad was fresh, beer came Xlarge, coffee was fragrant. They gave a hazelnut dessert to cap it off. Must try.

On our last night in Milan we thought we would treat ourselves to a full dining experience and were not disappointed by our choice. Our waiter was wonderful, helpful, cheerful and attentive. The food was amazing started with soup maybe possibly my wife's soup was under seasoned, mine was great, we then had the Chateaubriand for two absolutely magnificent some... More

Incredible location very close to the Duomo square, so I was not expecting much, but the menu was tempting enough to try. I was not disappointed with the pasta course. Fresh buttered pasta and grated white truffle - which is charged by the gram and grated and weighed at the table. An absolute must have. Grilled fish platter followed but... More

We really loved this place. From the moment they came outside, we were not sure we would get into the place as our first driven choice was the kids menu (a healthy one please), to them working a healthier option to my daughter, being extremely accommodating and caring, good options, and tasty for the adults as well. So, worth the... More

We lunched without a reservation so we had to wait a bit - but the next day - they knew we were coming and had an outdoor non-smoking spot. Yes, the tables are outdoor inside the galleria so there is smoking. Even a reservation will not prevent that but it was nice to be seated near like thinking eaters. Staff... More

In the center of Milan is a cozy restaurant with good food. We ordered lasagna that was very good, cotolletta that was tasteful but not something special and tagliatta that was well done . A little bit expensive

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
