Best bakery in Milan

I have privilege of living near this bakery for two years. It is not in the city centre but is the best bakery you will find in Milan. The cakes are fresh and delicious and there is a big choice. The owner is lovely and always offers you a free sample as you make your choice. The prices are not... read more

My Italian friends adviced me about this bakery, who should have been the best of the best in Milan. I had breakfast here and I had to notice that the cornetto was a little bit crispy, like it was here since two days or so. My girlfriend ate a slice of raspberry chocolate tart and she said that the taste... More

I went here only because I read other reviews on Tripadvisor and I was craving for something sweet and memorable. The reviews do it justice! The homemade sweets are delicious. I recommend that you to let them choose for you what to try - we tried 8 mini cookies of different sorts and they were all unbelievably tasty. We also... More

I love to eat! I actually plan trips around where I can get great food - making Italy a slam dunk choice. When traveling I have discovered the hardest of high quality food to procure is a high quality pastry . In search of the perfect pastry in Milan, I frequented COVA, and many other local pastry shops. I discovered... More

Castelnuovo worth every calorie! An annual favorite of mine - we have been returning with every trip to Milan. A trip to this pastry shop will be the highlight of your visit to Milan. The cream filled swans, store made chocolates, and many tortes will have your taste buds humming. Castelnuovo owners, Augusta and Franco, are friendly, understand English and... More

This is a little gem on the outskirts of the city centre. It was literally across the city from us but we decided to trust our fellow trip advisors on making the trek. It was indeed a risk worth taking! The sweet server narrated through the various pastry descriptions and even have both me and the bf a free little... More
