Beautiful looking cakes which are very tasty. If you don't speak Italian, it can sometimes be hard to order what you want but the owner was very helpful despite being able to speak little English. We chose what we wanted by pointing and after this, he brought out more things for us to try and he really did his best... More

We were in milan for a day and a half. Discovered this outstanding patisserie by accident as its rather hidden. Fantastic puff pastries and all sorts of cakes everywhere you look. There are hundreds. the cake with the chocolate and toasted hazelnuts and pistachios...... Yummy!! A real treat even for all the kids, although I'd consider it more of a... More

Found this place on trip adviser and as we were only staying a short distance away we gave it a try. We went on a Tuesday and the owners were very apologetic, they said that as they were shut on a Monday they are low on pastries early on a Tuesday as they bake to restock. They still had plenty... This shop was so delicious that we returned this year when we found ourselves in Milan once again. After visiting the Last Supper, we took the 14 tram over to the shop. New this year is the ability to have a coffee or tea in the shop. Being American I do so lovely pastry with my coffee and it now... More

I usually valorise tripadvisor's review, but when you find the best review in the second city of ITALY is a bakery, you really get incredulous. It's just UNACCEPTABLE to go to Milan and NOT visit Pasticceria Castelnuovo. Beautiful pasticceria and wordeful cakes are a delight for eyes and mouth. A family owned business very, very friendly made me feel at... More

Very few places can truly boost to coming close to perfect, This is one of them. Wonderful wonderful. They have got it right in every aspect, from the food, to the service, to the layout, to everything. I was inspired, and I will defintely return.
