Excellent Sicilian cuisine in a traditional setting

Visited as a solo diner and had a wonderful meal and experience. The setting is traditional with green and white tablecloths. Service was attentive and appropriate for a solo diner. The waiter spoke enough English to match my minimal Italian and we got by just fine. Menu is in Italian and... read more

I found this place through TA as I had intended to stay in Chinatown area. It did not materialize though, we stayed near Linate airport. But we drove there eventually. Restaurant was homely and the gentlemen serving us were very friendly. We ordered the swordfish carpaccio, two pasta, a salad that we requested for their recommendation, and the house red... More

The raw fish antipasti dish in itself is worth the trip! Definitely stands out... Not pretentious, awesome sicilian food!

From the narrow via Bramante you step into the Sicilian atmosphere of Ottimofiore. The menu is seasonal. Raw fish platter is always a good way to start. The pastas are freshly made. Main dishes with fish are simple, fresh. Desserts typically Sicilian. Ask for the chocolate-covered orange rind.

I've been to this restaurant many times, and I keep coming back for many reasons: the genuine atmosphere, the season related Sicilian dishes and the prices are just right for what you are getting. I definitely suggest this place to anyone - a group of friends (not to big group tough - since the place is small), couples and families.

A small traditional trattoria in Milan with excellent food. The environment might not say much but try the house wine and the sea food spaghetti and you'll consider it a night well spent!! A "must" visit in my opinion...me and my friends are definitely going back next time we visit Milan!!

Green & white check tablecloths, welcome you to this homely Sicilian restaurant, tucked away off a street in what has become Milan's Chinatown. A Milanese friend booked this restaurant and allowed us to catch up together after a gap of many years, with none of the modern scourge of "turning tables" in evidence. Everyone was installed for a good evening!... More

Old-fashioned trattoria serving the best PASTA ALLA NORMA. Dessert: cassata, torta della nonna. My first visit was in 1999 and I have enjoyed many delicious evenings here.

The location in the middle of chaotical Milan, on (or from) the way to Chinatown (on a main street), better reachable by street car or taxi rather than driving there. Is a small restaurant, reservations are recommended since is a very popular place. The atmosphere is pretty classically “trattoria”; those classic red-white (or green-white or blue-white) checkered tableclothes, old and... More

It's a simple restaurant with a beautiful picturesque mood. From the starter to the dessert you will find 100% Sicilian homemade specialties. The service is friendly and familiar. I come to this restaurant since more than 10 years and always with great pleasure. Difficult to suggest a particular plate, there a so many tasty courses to try, avoid to choose... More
