Fresh homemade pasta, fresh seafood prepared to perfection. Very friendly and don't be shy to ask for an English menu. I strongly recommend it you are nearby definitely stop in for dinner. Great find.

The food here is absolutely wonderful with solid Italian recipes especially from the Liguria region (fish & pesto). Very welcoming staff, and the waiter clearly knowledgeable about the menu. The decor inside is interesting (nothing special) and the spacing between tables decent. But essentially what makes this place so good is the food itself - octopus salad as a starter,... More

This restaurant was a true disappointment in Milan . Unattentive, almost hostile waiter. No atmosphere to write about. Expensive for its mediocrity. Our landlady was Luke warm about the place , but I followed the trip advisor ratings. If you want to have dinner with children and grandparents , if you order no wine., and only have 2 courses it's... More

We visited Al Conte Ugolino following recommendation of a friend and it was a fantastic choice. All dishes were delicious, fresh and made of best quality products. After having both our appetisers and main courses - which are quite large portions by the way - we still couldn't stand a double portion of their tiramisu. I had a warm seafood... More

Great meals. We went twice. Great pasta, great lobster. Great wine. Good friendly staff. The red fruits with orange juice were really great. I really recommend that if you are in the city centre and want good italian food, no stress, no complication, that's the place.

it is a restaurant in the centre of Milan so great location, the quality of the food is good, but don't expect big portions. The real downside are the prices, too high, much more in line with a tourist trap...

Found this place by chance wandering around the centre of Milan. We were fortunate to get a table as the place became very busy later in the evening. Mostly locals so that speaks well for the quality and choice of menu. Expensive yes but worth it. There was no pressure for us to vacate our table and waitiing staff very... More

We visited this restaurant as our friend recommended it as one of the best in Milano. It is in the very centre of the city, right next to Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, but we were somehow lost ;) If you plan to visit it for a dinner, then reservation is necessary. I am not the biggest fan of risotto, so I... More

Close to the Duomo, a little too brightly lite for dinner, but it was very enjoyable. The chef offered polenta with Bolognese on top that was terrific. The a waiter wheeled a large Panfocaccia, and stopped at each table and sliced off some hot bread for everyone. The fish was fresh and the dessert tray could not be avoided. Coming... More
