Authentic Italian dinner near Duomo

We enjoyed a fine Italian dinner with a red wine from Montalcino in a welcoming atmosphere. The place is close to the Duomo and the Campari bar (passage of Vittorio Emmanuele ). Both meat and fish dishes are served, I had a nice Ossobuco.

Although the restaurant was in the city center, it is mostly preferred by local people. I think our table was the only table occupied by tourists. The serve until 1935 which shows that they have a quality standard for 80 years!! Sea food selection was nice, pasta selection was also quite satisfactory. Can be recommended for lunch..

This is a place we have been going to for over 5 years. Every time we are in Milan we go to this place. It does not look like anything on the outside and when you enter it can be very busy depending on the time. It is not unusual to wait for a table. It is very crowded inside... More

We were recommended this place by our hotel - unfortunately it turned out to be the worst restaurant experience I've ever had in Italy. Entered with my family (2 adults, 3 kids) at 8 o'clock with a reservation, the restaurant almost empty. But soon enough the tables around us started to fill up. We ordered drinks for everyone and starters,... More

The positive reviews here seem more than justified. Sadly, while there were many cheerful and helpful waiters and staff, we had the misfortune of landing a somewhat grumpy waiter with seemingly little patience for "stranieri". Fortunately, one of his colleagues stepped in to cheerfully save the day. Pesche misto ... delicious. 100 Euros for 2: pasta, main and wine.

The place was recommended to us by a friend , and we are so glad we went! Located in the city center, near Duomo , on a hidden square off the side streets. There is a lot of seafood on the menu and it is all fresh! We shared the sea bass in potato crust and it was delicious. The... More

In Milano you can end up in a tourist trap restaurant or in a Really Good Place. This is one of them. Although we were not the first ones to discover it, we had tot joy of being accompanied by someone who has been a client for over 20 years. That makes things even better. Try to get a seat... More

My family used to come here when I was growing up. 20 years later, the place is still family run, still has the best tagliata in milan, and still treats its customers with the utmost respect and best service. The waiter welcomed us with a bruschetta on the house, picked a fabulous wine for us and delivered properly one of... More

We had a business dinner at this excellent Restaurant, the place is very nice with polite and helpful staff with very good knowledge of both food and wine. We had a variety of dishes that all tasted excellent, and will definitely be back again. The restaurant is located in the center of Milan, close to the Duomo and our favorite... More
