La Pobbia was recommended to us by a local as "the" hotspot in the area since years. It exceeded our expectations ! The restaurant is suitable for groups, they have private dining areas, but very much so also for cosy family dining. The restaurant is centred around a huge, real log burning, fireplace. The atmosphere is relaxed and authentic. The... More

Pobbia was recommended by an italien friend who was there before. When we entered we had s good feel as the ritorante looked quite nice and generous. The menue looked attractive and the service was good. The price level (main course from 18 to 28 €) was very reasonsble. However, when the first course was delivered there was already disappointnent... More

We were a fairly big group and the staff handled the service and maintained the food quality with excellence. The food experience was traditionally Italian and very well prepared. Great experience.

Very punctilious service, delivered in a traditional, but warm, atmosphere. Wouldn't advise going too early - somewhat deserted when we arrived at 7.45, but buzzing by 9.00. Two menus in one - a very local & authentic Milanese selection on one side - risotti & osso buco to the fore; & a more generalist Italian choice on the other -... More

Great Milanese food particularly the veal. Rissotto also excellent. Fantastic service. Try to get a seat facing the outdoor gardens....they are beautiful. About a 15 minute taxi ride from the Duomo. Well worth going

We were in Milan for a long weekend, and wanted to try out some Milanese regional food. The building is historic, with a pleasant atmosphere. Food was a 4, but service was a 5; we had a very charming waiter who recommended some wonderful regional dishes and wine. Reasonable tariff, and a very enjoyable evening.

We were taken to La Pobbia by a Milanese friend on a Monday night. The place was nearly empty when we arrived but started to fill up later on as the Milanese eat late. We had a table by the window overlooking the garden and the atmosphere was perfect. This is wonderful old fashioned service from experienced waiters who have... More

A friend of mine took me to this traditional milano restaurant. Classical meals, excellent rissotto. Good wines. A little expensive, but a good option to enjoy a relax atmosphere.

Traditional old style Itailan restaurant. Calm and distingished admosphere. High quality food and great wine list. Beautiful place for a romantic or pleasant business dinner. Not cheap but service and value are of a high level.
