Lively and easy going.

Great little place in the hub of the city. A very traditional cafe/restaurant/bakery. Has a covered and heated outdoor area which is popular with the locals were you can enjoy an aperativo spritz and watch the world go by. €16 for two large spritz with nibbles of your choice. All very fresh and... read more

Been there withy partner, while strolling around the Corso Como area in Milan. The place is known in Milan, and the whole chain has some seriously good bread. We however went there to test the Aperitivo. The place was a bit crowded. We took a spritz and a negroni. The first was good, the second seemed and incorrect mixture. Food... More

Just 2 blocks away from Duomo in hidden small street you will find this great bakery with great food. This place is perfect if you want to eat something fast, cheaper and good in the center. It has great option of pizzas, pastry and bread and as well serves coffee. It is great place to visit all day long -... More

The service was quick, the food excellent, rather large range for such a small places, a little bigger than a bakery, a good choice when you want a light lunch

We stopped at Princi every morning for two weeks while we were in Milan. Great coffee and pastries. They also offer delicious sandwiches and salads for lunch, plus pizzas and bread. One night we bought some pizzas to go and ate them at home. All really good. A place to sit and relax, or to simply do as the Italians... More

I visit Milan at least 5-7 times a year and I will never miss to eat a simple lunch at this place. Overcrowded at lunchtime for sure, the reason is that's good and genuine modern Italian combination of bakery with pizza made in open fire oven. Fluffy pizzas with a great taste. You pay by weight. As a desert there... More

Food is good but not really cheap but you can eat something with a drink for about 10€. There is too many people inside if you are lucky you can find a place :)

They bake very good sourdough bread, two types of big white loaves, one cooked longer, slower and darker than the other, rye, wholewheat etc. Sourdough bread is not something typical to Milan, so get it here. There are other bakeries which do it, but they are far away. The choice of sweet pastries is good too. They run out of... More

Tuesday lunchtime - very busy. Difficult to find a seat at the bar seating. And difficult to get served, as there were loads of people and no organised line. So be prepared to be pushy and elbow your way to the counter. Lunch was tasty - we had lasagna and the risotto. Unfortunately it was so busy, that to order... More

I had an enjoyable breakfast here. The smell of fresh baking and strong coffee is guaranteed to wake you up. Pastries, savoury breads, Cakes, cookies – the choice is endless and difficult. The service is no nonsense and brisk. You queue at the counter, wait your turn, order and collect your stuff on a tray., find a spot on the... More
