Food is good but not really cheap but you can eat something with a drink for about 10€. There is too many people inside if you are lucky you can find a place :)

They bake very good sourdough bread, two types of big white loaves, one cooked longer, slower and darker than the other, rye, wholewheat etc. Sourdough bread is not something typical to Milan, so get it here. There are other bakeries which do it, but they are far away. The choice of sweet pastries is good too. They run out of... More

Tuesday lunchtime - very busy. Difficult to find a seat at the bar seating. And difficult to get served, as there were loads of people and no organised line. So be prepared to be pushy and elbow your way to the counter. Lunch was tasty - we had lasagna and the risotto. Unfortunately it was so busy, that to order... More

I had an enjoyable breakfast here. The smell of fresh baking and strong coffee is guaranteed to wake you up. Pastries, savoury breads, Cakes, cookies – the choice is endless and difficult. The service is no nonsense and brisk. You queue at the counter, wait your turn, order and collect your stuff on a tray., find a spot on the... More

Went there a few time for breakfast. They are open 7 days a week but not early on Sunday. Enjoyed beautifully prepared fresh fruit with granola and creamy yoghurt. The fresh pastries, croissants and brioche are amazing. Coffee and even a pot of English tea started the day off well

We found this place after wandering from our hotel around the corner while looking for a place for a light dinner. Seeing that they had sandwiches and pizza we stopped in. I had a pizza on what looked like a focaccia type of bread and it was excellent. My partner ordered one of their paninis which he said was pretty... More

This was recommended by hotel staff as I was staying nearby. Very busy and full of locals. The food on display looks divine. I had coffee and bakery and it was fresh and yummy. I love the decor and you can see the bakers at work at the rear of the cafe through a glass wall.

MUST GO! It's a bakery, so just for take away or consume fast in little table. The food is really great and with a lot of variety!!! also cake and drinks. the location is great, 2 minutes walking from the Duomo of Milan! Considering that is a take away is very expencive, but you have to try!!!

Visited this deli/bakery near the Duomo ( Cathedral) in Via Spadari .Lovely fresh foods to eat in or take away. Very busy as popular -no wonder! Several other good cafes and delis in the Main Street .Quite expensive but high quality foods.

I was just wandering aimlessly in Milan one day in on 8th May, and stumbled into Princi - a restaurant cum pastry shop. The place was full, and a queue for tables was quite long. So instead of waiting in line, I decided to purchase some take-aways. The pasta sticks with olives, lasagne and strawberry cake that I had were... More
