Very nice restaurant with fresh food and a view on the kitchen. Good service, more than an average trattoria. Food is really fantastic, mussels, tuna, steak, sides, desserts, everything was cooked perfectly and had great flavour. Simple but really good, how it should be. Wine very good and not that expensive. 3 courses with sides and wine and a good... More

We showed up at 7:30 when they opened, without a reservation. They told us they were totally booked, but somehow, we managed to convince them to give us a table...with the understanding that we'd be done by 9 pm. Our table was overlooking the kitchen, which was a lot of fun because we could watch the chefs cooking all the... More

You need to try the starter - pumpkin with gorgonzola - it's an interesting and delicious combination. Staff was friendly and we waited on the queue for getting a table for 4 at lunch time for about 15 minutes.

Found this restaurant here on trip advisor and sent an email to book a month in advance. Easy booking process as I received a confirmation straight away. Turned up and it was quite busy. The food was amazing at a not so expensive price. It is typical to order a dish and a then a side dish to go with... More

My wife and I have dined all over the world and have eaten many prawn dishes. These guys are the best. Not only for gambaro but all their food. Book in advance and enjoy a great night.

I can only concur with the other reviewers: This restaurant is fantastic and deserves being in the top 3 of Milano. They serve fresh meets and seafood and show the assortment in the front to the customers. Not very pricy for the quality of the food. Book in advance and bistro table to watch the chefs in action through the... More

Staying in Navigli

Neighborhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
