Tasty, Reasonably Priced Food In a Great Location

Da Puccini is a great example of why we love the "near me now" search function of Tripadvisor. I rather expected to have to venture further away from Milan's major tourist street to find what we felt was a reasonably authentic, budget friendly place to eat, but was pleasantly surprised to find this... read more

Best meal in Italy so far, food excellent! Service Outstanding, walking distance from our hotel. A bit pricey but quality of food and service worth every euro, house wine the best we've had in a week. Shrimp in pink sauce super, I doubt any item on menu is not tasty. Good idea to make table reservation.

Definitely a very good Italian cook at the cooking pots. Not a refined haute cuisine but good, honnest Italian cooking like La Mama is doing it at home. Friendly staff, good service. On the evening where I was there, only American and Asian guests... that does not really give you the Italian feeling, but it changes nothing to what is... More

We tried to book the restaurant using the TripAdvisor link and it said that it was full. We happened to call them anyways and got in right away. Service was excellent. The food was impeccable. The restaurant was full of locals. We were there with our two daughters ages 5 and 7. We were treated very well and when our... More

Place: simple old fashion Italian restaurant - very crowdy. Service: in a hurry! They behave like in fast food restaurant. Running, not listening and speaking fast. Food: awful and very bad value for money! I would understand if the price is half of this. It was served like in and Italian cantine in the patrol station - not like in... More

Francesco the owner was very nice and even offered us a delicious home-made limoncello. The menu is very generous and the pizza are very good too. Prices compare favourably to the quality of dishes. I recommend it !

This place was recommended by our hotel concierge Davide, from the moment we walked in we were welcomed and felt like we were going to get spoiled, service, friendliness and let's not even talk about the food..... Everything we had was outstanding! My dish was the risotto, I have to say, from the first bite, I thought I was in... More

Food is always good here. We've had both the pre-fix menu and also ordering a la carte. Pre-fix menu is an amazing deal with the amount of food you get, but the a la carte dishes are delicious. The service is great... both the manager and the waiters are very friendly and treat you as a member of their extended... More

Excellent food. Excellent and friendly service. Very nice environment. You do not get the tourist treatment here even though it is just off Dante near the Castel Sf. I would go back anytime and would recommend this place to friends.

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
