Delicius meals at a milanese restaurant

We stayed in Italy for ten days and Da Puccini was the best restaurant that we had been...They are so kind, gentle and like a friend. The Pizzas have really good taste. The Tiramisu was the best for me and my daughter :) We went there for two times because we really liked da puccini's meals. You... read more

On first visit had the €40 fish menu - starter, prima, seconda and dessert. All well prepared and full of flavour. All that plus wine, mineral water and coffee included. They also gave us a free limoncello apiece. On my second visit, ate a la carte, and tried pasta with sauce made from cuttlefish ink - excellent. On this occasion,... More

This is a typical Milanese restaurant that specialises in fish and pizza (wood oven). Manages to retain an authentic feel despite being in a relatively touristic area. Clientele is mixed between tourists and locals of all ages, which gives it a nice buzzy atmosphere. Food is good, fresh and unpretentious. Prices are surprisingly reasonable for the area. Staff are welcoming... More

Very near to Cairoli station where Largo Cairo roundabout it. Opens at 7pm. Fills up with tourists largely. Very friendly cashier. Server speaks basic English. We had 4 pastas. 1 of which is with artichoke is not on menu. Pasta selection is small but the fusili with shrimps and pasta with clams were good. Cover at 3.5€ is high.

For dinner I had the pumpkin soup, followed by a veal cutlet sautéed in fresh herbs and butter, served with wilted spinach. While not fancy in preparation or presentation, it was a tasty meal after a long day of business meetings. The restaurant has a bistro ambiance, well-lit and spacious. The waiters are very friendly, and the whole experience was... More

Da Puccini is a great example of why we love the "near me now" search function of Tripadvisor. I rather expected to have to venture further away from Milan's major tourist street to find what we felt was a reasonably authentic, budget friendly place to eat, but was pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant a 5 minute walk away. We... More

Best meal in Italy so far, food excellent! Service Outstanding, walking distance from our hotel. A bit pricey but quality of food and service worth every euro, house wine the best we've had in a week. Shrimp in pink sauce super, I doubt any item on menu is not tasty. Good idea to make table reservation.

Definitely a very good Italian cook at the cooking pots. Not a refined haute cuisine but good, honnest Italian cooking like La Mama is doing it at home. Friendly staff, good service. On the evening where I was there, only American and Asian guests... that does not really give you the Italian feeling, but it changes nothing to what is... More

Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
