We had dinner here with two friends who live in Milan, and they said we would eat good meat . Well they were right , the food here is excellent - I had the entrecote which was wonderful - friends had the steak tartare which I sampled and although I would not have ordered it , I have to admit... The food is fantastic and the service exceptional. Be it the suggestions by waitstaff for food or wine , table side preparation of the vodka risotto( which is the best risotto my wife and I have ever tasted) , or the tabletop cutting and serving of the veal cutlet- all the food and service was superb. Pier was very helpful... More

The chicken liver pate on toast was amazing, as was the spaghettoni with ossobucco sauce. Wine suggestions were on point. Only disappointment was the artichoke pasta that was overly salty.

Wonderful restaurant. My wife and I dined hear after appertivo on the canal. We had a wonderful DOCG Chianti paired with the veal cutlet and osso buco with with Milanese saffron risotto. The dolce were the perfect end to our meal. While they do not have an english menu, the waitstaff were more than happy to help us navigate. Highly... More

I am a student and with my classmates we go almost every day to Conchetta. They have a fixed lunch menu which changes daily. You can choose among Primo (pasta), Secondo (meats) or mix & match for Piato Unico. The food is great, the service is very fast, the prices are super affordable and the staff is very friendly. Since... More

If you want to eat where the locals eat, this is the place. My guide Alice S. recommended it and made a reservation for us. There are no English menus. The owner speaks a little English. The food melts in your mouth. The Chef comes out to make sure you ate it and liked it! My husband got the Milan... More

Our tour guide, Alice, recommended we go to the canal district and experience Milan from the local's perspective. She recommended Osteria Conchetta. We are glad she did. The menu offered up all of the favorite Milanese dishes prepared to perfection. We do not speak Italian and the waitstaff were very accommodating with our struggles through the menu.

Osteria Conchetta was a delightful experience with wonderful authentic Italian food. The ambience was welcoming and cozy and the owner happy to translate the menui for us into English. My group tried the traditional Milanese risotto and the cotoletta, which was as big as the plate. The restaurant is located near the interesting canals of Milan, rescued when the rest... More

A bit out of the centre but well worth seeking out for the lunch alone. They offer a deal where it's possible to have two courses off a set menu and a coffee for less than 10 euro, and the food is superb. Real, traditional northern Italian fare, freshly prepared and on your table within minutes of ordering. I used... More
