Good view of the Duomo but overpriced. The risotto Milanese hits the spot but the pasta dishes were dismal. The dessert tray was enticing especially the DA Giacomo 'bomb' just don't attempt to take photos because the gruff manager will bite your head off.

Good location by the cathedral, lovely views. Food was really good & service was ok. Just got the feeling that they weren't too concerned whether you'd choose to eat there or not. Too pompous.

Pasta w king crab is great and so do the veal milanese. Cant go wrong.. Good food with a great view. The calamari fritti is a bit small for second course.. It should worth for appetizer. Overall the pasta and veal are great

Great views of the square, excellent food. Try the lobster! The space can warm up with the sun beaming through the sky light so later (after sunset) is better

Great location, good food, service slow at the end. As a guest, there was only a set menu (2 starters and 4 mains) with very limited choice, which is understandable. The food was quite good, although I found the service a little too casual for the style of place it is - up market. Desert took a while, and when... More

We had to wait too long before we got our table, even after making a reservation. The food and the view are definitely worth a visit. With a group of 10 we ask various starters. Good. All main courses where well in tast. Overall a 4 out of 5 is deserved.

This is the place where the milanese take to impress foreign guests and business associates. If you book in advance you should be able to have a table facing the Duomo. The view is spectacular, especially at night where the ligh of the duomo pinnacles change continuously, and the main reason to dine there. The restaurant is on the top... More

After being ignored all night, they charged for more than the 200 grams of shrimp I asked. And I had a pretty lazy negroni for 15 euros. Wouldn't come back.

Great food for a moderate / high price. The view is gorgeous. The food is very well done. The service is just Ok though. A bit hard to find in the first time, since you have to go inside the 900 museum and turn left towards an elevator that is at the end of the spiral ramp (going downwards). Was... More

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
