Location is simply fantastic, just few steps from Duomo Church and Rinascente Department store. View is simply amazing, over Duomo square and cathedral. Food menu is very wide and complete, with a real Italian traditional taste.. Wine selection is also wide and rich. Food is really excellent(believe me, I am Italian). Service is good, not eccelent. Quite expensive, about 90... More

After a wonderful visit to the NovoCento Museum, we were eager to enjoy a lunch right in the building. Little did we know, that such an outstanding meal awaited us at the top of the ramp! The burrata mozzarella appetizer was superb. My spaghetti with mussels and figs was quite delicious. My mate was very satisfied with his insalata mista... More

Recommended by the hotel concierge, we went to this restaurant. The view is great, but food is so so. To me it's too salty, and I believe can find somewhere better taste with lower price.

came in for a drink after visiting the museum, very impressive entrance and an amazing view. I was sitted at the bar and ordered Bellini. The bar keeper started to look for the ingrediences and was all the time traced and critized by the manager. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable. After the mediocre and somehow improvized drink was served... More

And the food is pretty damn good too! The restaurant is nicely decorated with good service. Recommend the raw pink prawns - so sweet and veal rib eye - melt in the mouth. Tip- get a table by the window and watch the world go by from above.

After enjoying the contemporary art gallery I had planned lunch here because I had read about the view. I was made to feel comfortable being a solo diner. I was lucky enough to get a table overlooking the square. A basket of beautiful breads, bottled water and a dry martini and I was happy admiring the Duomo and the design... More

We booked a table about a week before our trip. The restaurant was kind enough to confirm within the same day. We had booked a table for 5 overlooking the Duamo, the only grudge we had was that although the table was facing the square, our view to the Duamo was blocked by a huge pillar. This was not a... We visited Giacomo on a recommendation from a friend that visits Milan often for business. It was the last night of our trip in Italy so we decided to go out for an extravagant meal. The restaurant was very full we sat at the back of the restaurant so we didn't have a view of the Duomo (this wasn't a... More

We received a poor welcome by this arrogant manager. We did not get the view on the duomo we had reserved by email a month ahead of time... The food was nothing special. The prices were ridiculously high. Definitely a place to avoid in Milano.

I reserved a table for lunch 1.5 months before our visit and received a confirmation for a corner table at the terrace for the best view of the Duomo. When we arrived at 12:30pm as we requested, there were only 3 other tables seated with guests but the waiter offered us the worst table on the terrace where the Duomo... More

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
