Very nice meal

We were staying just round the corner in Corso Italia and we were recommended to eat here, we are very glad we did, food was fantastic, service was also great, bit hidden but worth taking the time to look for it.

We stayed in a hotel just around the corner and went here - best food in town and by far the best and friendliest service we have had on our trip through Italy and very good prices - we loved it so much we went back the next night and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a great meal for... We really loved this place. The food was very good with very large portions. The service was also very courtious and helpful. A great family style restaurant.

Their Risotto and Ravoli with Saffron and Dill is really good. The service there is also good. I went there twice and both experiences were very pleasant!

What so nice evenings! We (2 adults + 1 child, 5y) randomly landed there on first evening and we could not go to another place on following ones. Authentic atmosphere, excellent service, excellent food (yum!), and we every time were pleased by the singer, Barbara (Barbara, we love you!). We want to highlight the warm welcome we received and the... More

The luck of the lame and clueless brought us to the Hotel Canada in Milan, between the wildly popular canal district and the tourist center. They recommended the Manhattan restaurant, somewhat sheepishly, knowing that we are Americans and might want a place with a more Italian name. But a rose by another name still puts out great food! This place... More

We went here on the recommendation of the front des manager at our hotel. We had delicious meals - ghocchi in a pistachio sauce and fried zucchini flowers. There was also the bonus of a soloist singing along with computer accompaniment. It was a step up from karaoke! Very good service.

We had gnocchi Gorgonzola, risotto orange (Nice taste contrast ) and pasta with seafood. Staff are friendly, and there was singing for a bit of atmosphere. Free limoncello at the end.

This is our first time in Milan and I took my daughter to this resturant as it was her 25th Birthday. The staff were excellent. The team took the time to sing happy birthday to my daughter. They got us up dancing and made us feel very welcome. There was a great atmosphere , food was okay and great value... More

The Manhattan is a neat little neighborhood restaurant located a few blocks off of the mainstream path of tourists. It was a nice change of pace for our group and a great way to cap off our trip to Italy. Good food, great service, and great neighborhood feel.

Staying in Navigli

Neighborhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
