This is a small restaurant, sits no more than 15-20 people. The service is very friendly including interactions with the chef. The food is not your average Italian fare, there is an interesting level of sophistication even though some dishes were sweet and had lemon which I do not enjoy with my food. The octopus is the star of the... More

Last October, my wife and I came across sophisticated Italian dishes in unexpected manner when our ten days trip to Italy ended in Milan. Though they must depart from the traditional style, they deeply intended to be natural. The interior of restaurant was perfectly matched with the taste of food. The Amuse was so beautiful looked like Japanese cuisine. The... More

Again, in search of authentic Ravioli, we gave this place a look on Saturday night after our trip to the San Siro. By the time we found our way to the place, it was all very quiet and a bit deserted, so we were a little unsure about it - an impression that was reinforced when the toilets were found... More

I dream of this restaurant's ossobuco served on a bed of saffron risotto with a wonderful tomato and thyme sauce! It is not to be missed on a visit to Milan

Living in LA, we're somewhat spoiled by a huge selection of high-quality cuisine. Any half decent restaurant will make their pastas and sauces fresh in-house and so eating in Italy was (for the most part) not mind-blowing. That said, we were incredibly pleasantly surprised by Buongusto--everything from their service (very warm and friendly **English-speaking** staff as well as a complimentary... More

Ok guys, weak points before: the least friendly positioned toilet in the world, the least comfortable restaurant chairs, questionable light and furnishing, BUT: - finally a young chef daring something in all realms from pasta to meat fish and desserts - excellent execution - outstanding service, smiling and caring Not to miss, close your eyes and eat!

I just recently started coming to Milan on business and am always looking for good restaurants to try. This one happened to be only a few blocks from the apartment I'm staying in. Lucky me! I was dining solo, so went in a little on the early side. They welcomed me warmly, gave me a choice of several open tables... More

Had been at the Kitchen store (around the corner and up the street - marvelous Italian kitchenware). Checked tripadvisor and the app recommended. Very reasonable prices. Not your mama's Italian food. Very different but very good. Tortellini in broth but with (I thought the waitress was speaking English incorrectly but not) tasty foam on top. Also had canneloni stuffed with... More

Like other reviewers, i can't recommend this restaurant enough. With an intinate yet friendly atmosphere, the little place creates a wonderful setting in which to enjoy the creative and delicious dishes. Although the portions aren't huge, it was nice to not return to our hotel bloated. The food was creative with classic nods towards tradition. The menu was all in... More

Wonderful little restaurant that has a different twist on Northern Italian cuisine. But it's not just unique, it's great. The pasta is homemade and delicious. We let the friendly owner, Saverlio, steer our choices. The pasta with squid was soo good, I ordered it again for dessert. The main dishes were attractively displayed. The desserts are quite unique; one of... More
