After days of pasta and pizza, I felt like some meat. Pane e Tulipa is in a quiet spot not far from Centrale, and served exceelent lamb cutlets. Generous, fresh with a good salad. Service is relaxed and friendly

Being in a new town can be a little intimidating...especially a foreign one. We were staying at the Hilton and it's in the business district so it's not close to the tourist area, which is a blessing. The area has some really good restaurants Pane e Tulipani being one of them. We had several options, but we liked the menu... More

I found this restaurant by accident and I am very happy about my discovery. I had a "fiorentina" (T-bone stake) with side of focaccia for 45 euro which is very reasonable for Italy. The meat would have been enough for two people as it was over two pounds. Francesco was very helpful, friendly and speaks good English. The restaurant is... More

Ask chef Emad or Franky for spaghetti with seafood or pasta with salmon, they have a huge variety of foods on the menu. They don't open for lunch.

Good service but the food was hit and miss. One pasta meal was as expected I.e very good. My wife ordered pesto pasta. Neither one of us liked it. It did not taste like the pesto we know. She ended up leaving it. The place was very crowded, in fact packed and extremely noisy. They had people waiting so they... More

no wonder this restaurant has been awarded the certificate of excellence 2013 from Tripadvisor. I visited last week on two occasions during a trip with friends to Milano . We were always welcomed and the staff was very helpful even when the place was full. Try the pasta dishes if you do not want a full main course. A good... More

We stayed in Milan for 4 days Mar 28th to Mar 31st 2014 . I need to note although this place is quite simple, the staff was very pleasant and the place was always full of local Italians visiting the place for lunch or dinner. Also, my friend was celebrating New Year's Eve in this restaurant and really enjoyed the... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel personnel. It fully lived up to expectations. A wide variety of local Italian food. Our server was great and really took care of us. Recommended dishes and wine. He really enhanced the dining experience. We had pasta, pizza and great seafood. Another authentic Italian restaurant.

This restaurant is above average but I won't give it a very good. Having arrived late into Milan, we stayed close to the train station. This restaurant was close to the horrible UNA Metropole( see my review). Typical northern Specialties with pastas, pizza and seafood. The service by Nichalas was attentive and fun. Food was nothing special but filled the... More

We went to this restaurant because we got a "discount card" from the hotel. First of all, the waiter did not give us the menu of the day and I happened to notice it because another person was looking at it. When we received it it was with a very unpleasant face. The "menu del giorno" is a very good... More
