This restaurant isn't far from Milano Central, was recommended by the hotel and certainly worth a visit, staff were friendly and efficient, had a nice atmosphere & food was great, I had a pizza & was very tasty not your normal doughy run off the mill pizzas that you sometimes get. Menu was extensive and was hard to choose &... More

Was recommended by Marconi hotel staff, only 200m away. Great service and food, they couldn't do enough. Can't keep up with the the volume of Italian eating tho, waiter was surprised we didn't order more! Freshly made food, well done guys!

We stumbled upon this restaurant, intending to have a quick bite before an early night, which turned into the opposite. The menu is extensive, the food fantastic (including the steak) and the service was second to none. Thoroughly enjoyable evening.

We are 4 Americans with no Italian. They took care of us well. Good bread, good pizza, and good entrees. Frank is excellent and the prices are fair. Take the #4 tram -- it stops right in front of the place. They'll do pizza to-go as well.

We were 5 people (3 Norwegians, 1 Dane and a French guy) looking for a good dinner. We got the place recommended by the hotel, so we were a bit skeptical and didn't know what to expect. We were absolutely blow away by the quality of the food. Everything we tried was top quality.... And a great thanks to Frank... More

I dined at Pane e Tulipani on a Sunday evening in June. The restaurant has outdoor seating but we chose to sit inside as it was quite warm. The host was very friendly, as was the waiter. Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighborhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
