Love this nice old-fashioned place. The antipasto buffet was so inviting! Loved the waiters Roberto, Vincente, and Sal. Melon and Parma ham the tastiest of our trip. Also the best risotto. We drank a half carafe of both white and red house wines and they were delicious and perfect with the food. The biscotti with the check made the evenings... More

My business colleague and I were recommended this restaurant by a local and we were very pleased with the food. Very enjoyable food with efficient and helpful service. I would not hesitate in eating here again.

Just happened upon this restaurant while exploring the area. Greeted with enthusiasm and seated immediately. Waiter "Roberto" was great (although he only spoke Italian) While we were looking at wine list he asked "rosso or bianco?" We said rosso - he motioned to let him choose. It was great wine. While looking at menus he asked "beef or pasta? we... More

Mix of locals and tourists. Good antipasto bar. The kitchen dishes are a bit hit and miss. I was there alone and felt rushed even though the room was far from full. Good value.

Service was excellent, made us feel welcome and they where very helpful. The starter was a little confusing but once we translated the buffet options we were really pleased with our choices. A good Italian resturant.

I literally stumbled on Da Bruno, after exploring the round abounds, and after endless walking. It doesn 't meet the eye, but GET INSIDE!!!! Cosy, with friendly staff, very helpful and not at all "touristic". TRY the veal osso bucco. MAMA MIA!!!! You don't need fancy, elegant, expensive restaurant's to eat well. Just visit Da Bruno and find out the... More

I stayed near Duomo in Milan and entered this restaurant because of the short distance from hotel. I am afraid that the quality of meals were low. My wife could not eat 80% of the meals saying 'I do not want to get fat with eating non-tasty meals'. Also, the service from the elder waiter was not smart even though... More

I cannot believe to what I read.... My restaurant was born in 1939 and it is not a "restaurant just for tourist". It's a very superficial opinion. Many italian people come here because of our delicious italian meals. If you don't like the italian meals it's not my fault. In Milan you can choose other restaurants from other countries but... Went there for lunch. Immaculate service and good Italian cuisine. A little above average and not exactly a tourist trap. Businessmen met for cultured dining. We came a little late and were among the last guests. No rush, we were served with all possible elegance.

After spending two weeks in Italy this was a wonderful place to end our trip. The wait staff was excellent and very attentive; not as slow as most italian restaurants but not rushing you either. The food and desserts were incredible and I felt that the prices were fair. I would definately go back.
