The restaurant is for beef passionated. The "chateaubriant" is what I had. That roast beef was simply amazing. You might end up with a 60/70 euro bill per person but it's worth it. The interiors are nice too. Old mirrors cover the walls.

Ate here two nights ago. We have dined at Di Giacomo several times.....always good. We wanted to try this, based on other reviews. My wife had the Veal Chop. It was dry, tasteless and overpriced. I ate the ravioli, which was great but expensive for what you got. The atmosphere and service was great, but there are too many other... More

I loved that place!!! Elegant, tasteful and delicious. I had tuna tartare, ravioli di zucca (amazing!!!) and cioccolato fondant to die for. Great too for people watching, the italian ladies and gentlemen are so chic! A local classic definitely worth going

we go regularly since the decor is very nice and cosy atmosphere, even though tables are too close . last night the waiter twice started taking plates away from 2 of the 4 people we were at the table. this is lack of basic politeness and it happens very seldom in Italy. it puts pressure on the 2 people still... Our concierge at Chateau Monfort recommended this inviting bistro for dinner and it was a great choice. After a 5 minute walk we entered the cozy restaurant with a casual yet elegant atmosphere. Mostly locals including a business dinner, date night and girls night out tables. Service was great and no problem with English. The food was delicious and I... More

We ate here on a recommendation from a friend who lives in Florence but comes to Milan on occasion. Giacomo has a little culinary empire here, with several restaurants. We chose the Bistrot as it matched our tastes the best. The atmosphere was elegant, but relaxed, and the meal was excellent. Giacomo was wandering around the restaurant supervising, and sat... More

Bistrot di Giacomo This Beautiful bistrot has a masculine, dark wood, men's club feel with a petite bar on the entrance side and a beautiful library on the other. Certainly this is a Local hangout. Businessmen at 3:30 where in white shirts with loosened ties in discussion over olives, anitpasto and wine. That night a group of individuals gathered for... More

6 of us went here over a weekend and what an introduction to Milan. I've been to Da Giacomo before and I actually prefer the Bistrot (although Da Giacomo is just as good). Lighting was low, we had a seat by the open front, which was perfect on a balmy night in Italy and setting was beautiful - just as... More
